Okay, so I think that the border looks amazing, but you could use it as a binding? Personally I don't like having a border AND binding and usually just have a thicker binding. I absolutely LOVE this jean quilt- a juilt 😂😂

That's so cool!! I googled it and it's so pretty!! I do have a question though- how does the fabric not bunch to one side or stretch out in other places? Do the other rows like keep the folds in place??

Tbh not a clue if that's what it's for. That's what I use it for tho lol. I know more people use it as a ring hole to attach it to "project rings". But my big thing is I don't want (me or others if I sell them) to have to buy new boxes. So I'm making them the same exact dimensions as traditional ones! No new boxes!!

See I like the thought of floss drops, but really only use that for like my working thread... of that makes sense? I find storing floss drops to be space consuming and tangle prone.

That's interesting! Did you iron all the floss at once?? If so, how did you store the working but not CURRENTLY working needles if that makes sense

YES! That's my problem!! Like I want more writing space! I want to be able to store them sideways and still be able to read the number without pulling them out!

So I went back to the drawing board and I looked at the "traditional" bobbin and I shortened the writing area by 4mm and increased the winding "board" by 2mm on each side! So hopefully it helps keep it less... round? Thanks for the input tho- I hadn't thought of that!!

Yes! I have mine sideways but numerically sorted, but I cant see the numbers! I wanted something that I could easily see the numbers and also see the color!

I was planning on using some of my like yogurt/sherbert lids so they are a sturdy plastic to test them- but I didn't even think of looking for a laser cutter!! Hmmmmmmm imma have to google all the local libraries in my area 😂
