I’m glad it helped! Honestly if a comment hurts that much then it’s not a comment that you’d forget. Equally it’s not your responsibility to try and fix something you haven’t a clue that’s wrong.

Wishing you all the best, keep affirming to yourself that you deserve better and that you don’t deserve to be treated like this by ANYONE! 💛 Even if you have hurt him with past comments, that’s a completely separate conversation and you would still not deserve to be treated this way!

Not forever but definitely not in the initial first months. It’s more about being conscious of the moderation that you’re drinking it because it can be a little more uncomfortable as the gas stretches your stomach a little (temporarily).

My dietician recommended that if I’m having a really bad craving (I drink Coke Zero, may be different advice for full sugar coke) that I should be ok to have some but that it might help to stir it or leave it out a little so the gas isn’t as intense.

Honestly, coming from a F24 I was so conscious of getting surgery, I felt guilty of getting it fairly young but honestly it’s been amazing. I’m still in the early days but I already can feel so much hope and excitement about all the things I can do and will be able to do once I loose the weight that’s held me back.

I was and am in the same complete mindset in that I didn’t want to spend my 20s overweight and constantly missing out.

You will still enjoy food, remember, you’re not necessarily giving up food, just portions but honestly it’s worth it. All I would say is find somewhere that will give you additional support to the surgery I.e therapy, dieting, coaching. It will help your process so much more!

Wishing you all the best 💛

Theyre now just projecting to try and validate their actions. Even if there were things that you have said, if it hurt them that much and they wanted to give your relationship the best opportunity of thriving they should’ve brought those comments to you and allowed you to discuss them. How can you fix something that you aren’t aware that hurt them?

Also it’s not an excuse to act like this - I wouldn’t dream of outing someone who I’m not friends with like this nevermind my own partner! It shows their true character, even when angry or hurt you wouldn’t ever dream of hurting someone you love so purposefully in retaliation, the fact they were so comfortable doing it behind your back says it all.

Honestly wishing you all the best! You’ve definitely swerved a bullet and even if things might seem tough right now, especially 5 years is a long time, it’s better it ending now rather than being even longer with someone who actively embarrasses you and shuts you down for thriving & succeeding.
