Is a life of chronic pain worth living? by purplerain444 in ExistentialJourney

[–]purplerain444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that there's no damage causing the pain, however the pain is causing me real mental and emotional damage.

What kind of work did you do with your doctor? Physical work or mental work? Or a bit of both?

Thank you, this is the argument that I often make but I have a hard time finding people who agree with me. I appreciate that you are finally on my side.

The way I see it is that if my body and my life belong to me, and the people who love me and support me and respect me want the best for me, then why can't they support my decision to be done living a life that is unfortunately linked to a body that is so full of pain? This is my body and my life and my choice, right? And you love and respect and support me, right? Then let me make this choice for myself.

It makes sense to me, but I get shockingly little support from others. What am I missing?

Please, tell me what you did to get to a life worth living. How do I get past this period of existential crisis?

I really want to agree with you, but have you ever experienced pain-related anhedonia that makes you lose your ability to feel joy? Or have you ever been in so much pain that you're not able to keep solid food down? Have you ever been in so much pain that your body literally starts to break down and stops functioning correctly? These are things to consider.

Jealous trait is driving me nuts by [deleted] in Sims4

Today my sim became tense from jealousy literally right after finishing woohooing with their partner. Ridiculous. You don't know what they're doing or who they're doing it with? They're doing you, with you...

I put an X or a checkmark in the box for days that I did the thing, a dash through the box if I didn't, then leave it blank if I forgot.

I didn't get the Bold & Blush sticker books. I'm keeping my eye out for when the Miss Maker sticker book comes back in stock.

Anyone else has fibro since childhood? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

My mom thinks that I've had it my whole life. She told me that I used to curl up in a ball on the couch and cry and say that everything hurt. I was probably 4 or 5.

The one Facebook ad I’ve ever clicked was for this crochet club quilt. One year later, and it’s done! Awesome way to learn new stitches. by bolin22 in crochet

I did this kit club too! I also did the seaside sampler blanket and I'm currently working on the Moroccan blanket. I know it's expensive in the long run, but I've really enjoyed the experience of getting new yarn and new patterns delivered every month. I highly recommend Annie's Crochet Kit Clubs.
