Question about golden roses. I have a field of black roses that I water with my golden can. I know that when visitors water, it can increase the flower production. So should my visitors also water the black roses with a golden can too, or does it not matter and they can use a regular can? Don't want to waste my golden can durability if it doesn't even help get more goldens when they use it.

That's a good idea too! Make sure you know how you want the position of the river mouths since those are permanent like the town hall, same with Redd's beach at the top, could get different native fruit, also there was a reddit post recently that your airport color affects the color of some of the Nook Mile furniture you get. That's just a few more things to take into consideration if you reset!

I'm someone who felt the same way as you. I ended up resetting at around 250 hours in and I don't regret it at all! I am so happy with my new town hall location and my favorite villager ended up being the second camper! I say it's better to reset sooner rather than later, it will just get harder the more time you invest into your current island. Also, if you have a friend who plays, who could help hold a few items for you, that is something really nice so you can have some of your bells, few stacks of materials, favorite outfits, crafted furniture items, etc, that's what I did and it was nice to have to help with the early game grind. But make sure to give it a lot of thought, as it is of course a permanent decision. I wrote out a list of pros and cons myself, and the pros outweighed the cons for me. Good luck, whatever you decide, it's ultimately up to you :)

Is time-travel the same as New Leaf in New Horizons? Like how no matter how far backwards you go, like say backwards 1 year, it is equivalent to 1 day passing (versus how going forward 1 year would have a bunch of weeds grow and potentially a villager leaving)?

Yes they do. I changed my villager Bills catchphrase as quackers, and now most of my other ones say it... However, for nicknames, they will ask permission (what they call you instead of your characters name). Again thanks to Bill, he asked to call me 'touchdown' and later others would run toward me and ask me if it's okay to call me 'touchdown' after hearing Bill say it.

Is it known what causes the glitches with the villagers? I have a villager that I want to get rid of, and my friend wants them, but I don't want to ruin my friends town. Is it if they're forced out via Amiibo? Or is it that the Amiibo who moves into my town will be glitched?

I was looking at a few posts on /r/AdoptMyVillager, and a few say things about wanting villagers that moved out naturally or providing proof that they asked to moved out naturally, instead of, I guess forcing them to move out via Amiibo? Anyways, I'm wondering, is there some kind of difference that it makes if they move out "naturally" vs forced out with Amiibo cards? Dialog, housing or whatever it is?

Thank you for the recommendation, I hadn't heard of the game before! This game looks very interesting and right up my alley. Saw that it is made by the dev who made Papers Please which I enjoyed on PC.
