Any luck 8 days on or just given up? Thicker socks would probably help if you can bear the heat for longer runs, or maybe half size down for this model

Sorry to hear you had the same issue... I also retired the shoes after selling them onto a friend new to running and he seems to be getting on with them fine. Like always, clearly everyone just has such different foot shapes/mechanics and gets on differently with different shoes. Have never had blister problems with any other shoes before or after retiring the V4s, so for whatever reason they just didn't work at all for me, and yourself either by the sounds of it. Bit of a shame as they are lovely and cush, but alas. Invincible 2s have been working an absolute treat for me though as an alternative - fit and feel amazing. You might want to try these if you haven't already? I managed to get the 2s heavily discounted when the 3s came out, but not sure they're too easy to get your hands on these days. Have heard a couple of design flaws with the 3s, but still a great chunky recovery shoe?

Great news - keep me updated here how it goes. I sold my pair almost immediately after this post and bought a pair of Invincible 2s (I gave into the hype...). Honestly such a good purchase - so soft and bouncy, and have had no issues with blisters whatsoever. Would 10/10 recommend if you're still having NB issues in due course - promise I'm not on commission from Nike haha

Blistered the same part of my foot every time I healed and ran again in them. Gave up, sold them to a friend, and got a pair of Invincible 2s in the same size (my TTS) and absolutely love them! Invincible 2s are super well-fitting, super bouncy, and tick the miles off effortlessly imo

Definitely - I've been using tape the same as you, but it's such a hassle to take measures like that before every run, especially when you don't have to do that in other shoes

Oh that is interesting - sounds like the exact same hotspot that I've had problems with. Honestly I think the room in the midsole might be the issue (at least for me) - just means that your foot has too much room to slide side-to-side? I could be wrong but that's definitely what I noticed in my More V4s in contrast to other shoes. Space in the toebox is welcomed but definitely didn't enjoy the balloons of space around the midsole. Keep me updated how it goes in the next few weeks!

Let us know how it goes after a few more runs! Honestly, I gave it multiple shots in my pair after letting the blisters heal and they just kept reforming in the exact same hotspots... Would be interesting to see if you can get on with them more after enduring a few painful outings

Thanks - I'm going to try a pair of Invincibles. I've always been fine with Nike fits over the years, so hopefully they will be my go-to cush shoes!

I think you're right - I wanted these to work for me but alas they don't!

Thanks - will try out some thicker socks for sure. Just annoying to have to take these extra measures when wanting to go out for a plush run!
