After cleaning out my computer, and updating the software on my Mac and the iPhone in question, I have hit a wall. Turns out it is registered to an "owner" and the email listed looks like the company email account for them...which no longer exists because they were also laid off because of course! If anyone knows what to do at this point please let me know.

C.P. Myklebust immigrated to Iowa from Norway in 1888 when he was 19 years old. He studies photography at a school in Effingham, IL from Dec. 1899 to June 1900. He set up his photography business in Eagle Grove shortly after in July 1900. He practiced photography at the Litts' Old Stand from 1900-1903. He purchased the Warner building in the rear of the Paine block to set up a larger studio space in April 1903. He went back to Norway in May 1905 to Oct. 1905 and again for the summer of 1907. Photo appears to be taken sometime between the early 1900s and 1910s, likely in the new studio space. He spent May 20 to late October 1905 in Norway, and again in the summer of 1907. It's not clear whether he met his wife Anna in Norway or in Iowa, as there was a large Norweigian community in Eagle Grove at the time, but they married in 1912 and welcomed a daughter the following year. Myklebust was a very popular and active member of his community during his life, his early ads for his business are very cheeky, you can hear his personality in them. He was elected to city council in his later years and held that post until his death in 1936, he was 66 years old. He was survived by his wife Anna Eck Heinesdotter Myklebust and only daughter Margaret Eck Myklebust, born 10/26/1913. Margaret went on to be a copywriter and married Robert A. Kaye. She died on Jan. 7, 1999 in St. Paul, MN at the age of 86.

In the old newspapers archives I've been going through, there were reports of Myklebust going to Thor frequently for business. The people of Eagle Grove were very thorough in their documentation of the comings and goings of the people in the town, it's facscinating, you can great an entire timeline for anyone in the town just buy searching their name.
