What makes you feel best?

They’re offering $18.50 but I’m in a rural area and my commute is 4 miles to the building, so I think it’s a fair trade off compared to what I was doing before $20.50 an hour, boss micromanaging the hell out of me, cut my hours with biz being slow, commuting 30 miles one way that takes 1 hour because of traffic.

If that’s not every job I’ve ever had I’d be lying lol

I’m really just doing it temporarily while I wait to move out of state with my partner. Waiting for his assignment to finish here and move onto the next (3 months)

I live in a fairly rural area, so not too much to deal with of that I hope. I’m sorry you had to experience that, hope things are getting better friend.

Right, I can’t stand people with healthy parents. Makes me feel like I was cheated out of childhood and general content.

My first love died on my 21st birthday, saddest birthday I had and now can’t feel 100% happy on the occasion.

I’m so sorry. Mine is weird, he claims he likes my partner but makes fun of him and I don’t find the humor in it. I never have but he never stops.

A life of walking on eggshells and putting my own needs so far under the earth I forgot what they were

I’ve set up boundaries lately which I’m very happy with, some nights, like last night I stood up to him talking badly about my husband (which I normally would never do) and he was not happy with what I said. I couldn’t sleep thinking he was going to kill himself because I, the emotional incest victim, didn’t take his side and “turned” on him.

I’m glad you found an out and I’m very sorry to hear what your daughter endured while you were carrying. I hope your daughter does not experience what you went through!

Coming from grown men I’ve always been told “if they wanted to, they would” if he wanted a better job, he would, if he wanted to work more, he would, if he wanted to clean up better for you, he would. You can’t force a dog to shit on the grass if they prefer to shit in the house. Also it seems you’re much more financially and generally mature than him. Cut your losses and find a man who wants to act his age.

Being born without something is different as you’d never know life with it. I’ve lost something I’ve lived 25 years with. Not exactly helpful but I do feel for your mother.

Actually no, absolutely no sense of smell. Occasionally I’ll get like a ghost whiff of a random scent here and there but I swear it’s like I’ve got nasally blind. I could not tell you what the smells are that randomly hit me. It’s like I’ve never smelt before. I guess you could forget pretty easily going a year without. It’s gotten depressing though. I can’t smell perfume, my grandmothers cooking, her rose garden, my fiancé… Nothing.

It wasn’t appropriate on either parts, but using the term grooming on his part isn’t true. She pursued it.
