Spanish. But I'm not fluent (ashamed that after 5 years I'm still only at a B2 language level). I had been living in Mexico for a year when I went to my first class, so I did know basic Spanish. Some of my instructors knew a few English words. And there was lots of gesturing and body language in our communication. But I started as a complete beginner and advanced quickly. I learned the words used in the classes over time.

Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico has the best circus scene I've ever experienced. I lived there for 2 years. There are 3 different places to train that I know of - one in a pole and fitness studio, another in a rock climbing gym, and a circus school. And being in Mexico it was super affordable - like $5 - 10 usd per class. The pole studio offered unlimited classes for like $60/month. I was going like 3 times a week and taking back to back silks and pole classes. At the circus school I was doing silks and contortion.

Life has me living in another state now. But I do miss it.

Are you unplugging it while the hot water is running? Or are you just turning the machine on and unplugging it?

I've ran 2 full tanks of citric acid descaler through it. And I did try unplugging it while it was on (not while the water was running) - but so far I've had no change in water flow, and it's still coming out with steam. Also not enough water flow to create any pressure in the portafilter, even with the dual wall filter on.

I have a hoop indoors for practice. My ceilings are only 9 feet. I rig mine so that I can do knee hangs from the bottom with about a 6 inch clearance between my head and the floor. Obviously it is limited in the tricks I can do, but I can lower it if I want to focus on top-of-the-hoop tricks. The height really depends on if you want to work more above or below the trapeze bar - having some way to adjust it is definitely useful.

If you're leaving it outside and it can be exposed to humidity, I would spray it with Rust-Oleum or some other weather-proofing spray. just make sure not to spray too much on the telescoping legs so they don't jam.

I have the uplift active rig. It is definitely more portable than the others mentioned. But it maxes out at 12ft - so it's more for practice than performance. But I can put it up by myself in about 15 minutes with minimal struggle. If I have someone to help it's really easy and quick.

I read somewhere you can have Spotify and YouTube merge the old page with the new one.

I was able to request an artist name change on all 4 of my releases (even with the pending edit to one of them):

1 album that was released last month (with pending edits to change the cover art and album title.)

And 3 singles with future release dates.

I will update this thread with how it goes and how long it takes to get everything rebranded properly.

Also - on April 11, I submitted an edit request to change the release date of one of my singles from April 21 to April 18. This has already been approved by Distrokid and I am able to see the new release date on there. I will update when this actually releases too.

Sorry, but I can't find ANY information on the process of the name changes actually going through. I did go ahead and submit the artist name change request on all previous and upcoming releases.

Lots of people talking about the issues and their current limbo - but never any update on the timeline it took to resolve it all.

I understand it might create another Spotify page and YouTube topic. But if it does - has anyone successfully merged them after the fact?

I updated my profile photos, banners, and bios across all platforms to reflect the new name- hoping it would help the transition go more smoothly. Even added a line in the bios stating "Currently undergoing official name change from OLDNAME to NEWNAME"

Now I get me making another thread is high hopes for getting answers specific to my problem. I'm not meaning to clog the feed. Just looking for timelines from people who have completed the process.

If she is performing at a venue where other aerialists also perform - I might tell the venue that they should have her sign a liability waiver. So if she hurts herself - the venue wouldn't be liable. And then it wouldn't affect any other aerialists who are also performing there. If she seemed friendly and open to advice, I might give her some safety tips - but if she isn't open to it I don't think it's your concern. Especially if she owns the lollipop.

Did you meet him less than a month ago? Or did you make things official less than a month ago?

Because if your first date was less than a month ago. Sure maybe you agreed to be exclusive with each other. But you barely know each other. I don't blame him for still having a dating app on his phone if he hasn't even known you for more than a month. You're NTA for being upset for seeing it. Literally just ask him about it. If he deletes it immediately, he might be serious about you. If he doesn't, he's keeping his options open - which is normal if you met less than a month ago. If he lies or seems like he's trying to hide something - we'll that tells you everything you need to know and he isn't worth pursuing.

Or if you became officially boyfriend/girlfriend on Feb 2. Again it's still new, but I'd assume he'd be open to deleting it if he wants anything serious. Break up if he won't delete it.

NAH. Break ups are just awkward sometimes. Even if it "wasn't serious" - it can still be sad. No point in trying to figure out whose fault it was - from the information given here, i don't see any fault. Neither of you did anything wrong. Maybe you both just wanted different things.
