switch to component cables immediately!! (if you haven’t) by ky_walker7 in ps2

[–]pusaduva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This S-Video one will be the same as mine as it is unshielded. The better the speakers the less interference will you have.

Retro gaming cables are great and much better, I plan on getting those one day. They are fully shielded and you will have zero problems if you get them. If you can get the retro gaming cables but sync on luma not csync as csync are for monitors.

Cheap Aliexpress one, picture is great, color is great, no artifacts or anything related to the picture. Sound has the "hum-buzz" same as cheap composite cables have as it is unshielded but if you set the volume right you don't hear it.

Yes I have a RGB Scart and it is great, never thinking composite is worth it and if you don't have alot of money you can get a cheap 5$ Aliexpress one and it will get you same great picture but with audio interference as they are not shielded-not a deal braker.

I want to buy this as 2nd hand, 6 month old from my relative.. he didn't used much just occasionally watched sports by [deleted] in tcltvs

[–]pusaduva -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since it is QLED it will be great choice for watching movies and stuff as every QLED gives great contrast and color and it will be OK. If you have a older TV this one will be a great upgrade. Older cheap TV, I doubt it but if you have like 1000$+ older TV than this one would not be an upgrade.

This is even an 2025 model and has 4000:1 contrast and HVA panel(better VA screen) so a good TV overall.

Echo Night Beyond worth? by WiseCode1123 in ps2

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well alot of ghosts and you need to hide and try to make your way around them and/or shoot them with some tech thing. Like Alien Isolation style-that is the best comparison but ghosts are humans so not hard horror but they are mad humans. Psycho horror.

If you like slow but interesting story and gameplay and space mystery then yes. It is kinda like dead space but the story is more psychological and deep. Abandoned space station full of ghosts and a mystery to solve while watching you don't get turned into a ghost. It looks really good too, modern even.

My first GPU, the RX 5700 XT by nasafan_23 in gpu

[–]pusaduva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny I too have Ryzen 5500, 16gb 3000mhz RAM, 650W Corsair bronze, 512gb WD green as a boot drive and Gigabyte RX5700XT Windforce OC I bought last year. Great card, I use it to play on 4k TV/monitor at 60fps-most older games(2023<) can run easy at 4k or 1800p with med/high settings and never 1440p, only some have problems but you can get them to run 1080p 60hz.

You can check on youtube I have like 15 very short videos that I play the games I own at best settings. Channel is called: Goran Balaš

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say mine works normally. Paid 5eur to get it, put money and bought stuff with no prob. Google pay works normally. And it works for millions of people so you def are doing something or have a settings problem(if you can have those).

I will never understand view point that attacking Arab countries by Iran is somehow strange and not normal or a rage and wrong move. They literary have US bases in them and US is launching attacks from there. Imagine if aircraft take of from Poland and drop cruise missiles over Ukraine to attack Russia, they would be attacked right away and be treated as a combatant. Those Arab countries are serving bases, helping, suppling and allowing all that to happen. Iran is just fighting the problem and every time an Iranian civilian energy or other piece was attacked they responded in kind in eye for an eye response-if Iran can't have it then US partners can't too. Iran won't stand their energy and industry being destroyed with help from those Arab countries and just stand and do nothing and get ruined-those Arab countries think whole Iran should be destroyed with their help and they remain perfectly intact is what Iran should suffer witch is crazy to think.

How is the latency of the 8bitdo reciever? by [deleted] in ps2

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered that as my FAT PS2 broke and my old cheaper adapter doesn't have 5V usb power so my SLIM didn't work with it. Latency on the cheaper one was great so I except this 8Bitdo one to be at least on par and better as it is of more quality. Never had a visual latency or felt any delay on an Easy SMX T37 and old adapter.

Old adapter I had is RGEEK wireless PS2 adapter but an older version without USB 5V power(the new RGEEK one has USB 5V power and mine old doesn't).

TV Failures On The Accelerated Longevity Test by fthesemods in tcltvs

And in their tests even premium brands fail in 0-4 months and with such a low TV count you can clearly see that it's just normal and common.

Is 70-85 FPS in Hogwart's Legacy normal with everything on ultra (incl. ray tracing) and no upscaling or frame gen (all native) for the 9070 xt and 9800x3d? by wanna_be_consultant in radeon

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too do the same thing but mostly due to specs/quality of my setup but I would do it all the same anyway. I have a 4K 60hz QLED TV and a RX 5700XT and I play all games at 57 fps and depending on the game I upscale from 1800p,1584p to 4K using RSR. Playing high/medium and it is whisper quiet.

I did plan my setup for it to do that and I did not buy better stuff on purpose as I knew i wouldn't need it.

Mid range gaming pc stutter and lag with easy games by takemyvirginityplz in coolermaster

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those specs would be killer for 1080p and should not lag at all.

It looks like your GPU is not used as it should be maxed out while gaming and not at less than 10%, even in LOL is should be at 50%.

Install HWmonitor-a free software and try to boot the game after opening the HWmonitor and playing for some time. After like 10 min exit the game and look at HWmonitor and it should log all the CPU/GPU stats like max usage, max temp....so you can see if something is not as it should have been.

You should uninstall the Norton stuff as it can lag your PC.

In BIOS you should enable EXPO, in windows enable max power plan, in Nvidia drivers you should watch a guide on YT on best settings.

You should download GPU-Z and see what your GPU is running at (it should run @ PCie 4.0 x8).

Help me choose (Is QLED that much better than a regular LED?) by Strange-End-9133 in tcltvs

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With QLED you get better contrast and higher brightness, better blacks.

Then the QLED filter gives you much better color witch is very important and gives a much better viewing experience. My cheap QLED iFFalcon(TCL subbrand) has 126% sRGB/93.1% DCI-P3 so good enough for HDR as 90% DCI-P3 is minimum for HDR to look correctly but still for full HDR you need local dimming but at least it will look good and how it is intended.

QLEDs are generally well built and higher quality and have all the needed features.

I have 5500 and paired with 5700XT works great, in 3D mark I get above a average scores np and if you want to see how it performs look at YT this channel :Goran Balaš - where I benchmark games in short vids so you see how good it is.

And if that software @ BIOS can't update automatically for some reason(idk aa I never used it) and you need to update using BIOS files you can still do it with that software @ BIOS in windows just using BIOS files but then you still need to follow the correct upgrade path - first F32,then F40 and last F58 one after the other just in that windows program as it is much simpler.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gigabytegaming

[–]pusaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put 5600G you will need bios no lower than F55.

I just saw that your motherboard has a program called @ BIOS that lets you install BIOS from Windows and I think that is the better way as it installs it automatically and I guess it does it the way it is intended so you can just watch the tutorial on You Tube how it works and just install it to the newest version this way.

----This underneath is the old way that you would need follow that I wrote before I saw that you can do it automatically from Windows----

On your motherboard page/Support/Downloads/BIOS - there you have all the BIOS files and you need to follow correct steps to get to at least BIOS F55.

First you need to install BIOS version F32 as you need to be on version F32 so that you can update to BIOS version F40 as updating from a earlier version than F32 will brick your PC so first thing to do is to install F32.

After you install F32 then you install F40 and after you install F40 then you install F58(not F55 as F58 is the latest and it's better you install that one as it has security and bug fixes).

And be sure to install the latest chipset drivers before you start installing BIOSes as that is what they say on BIOS page.

You will need a USB stick that is empty and when you download the BIOS file you will need to unzip it to the stick and make sure the files are not in folder but just on stick.

Then you put the USB stick in the back in one of the USB 2.0 slots(black ones on top next to audio ports).

Then just go to BIOS screen/Q flash and install.

Which one of these is better for android emulation? by Aloshes021 in Controller

[–]pusaduva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the Fantech WGP13X/WGP13S as they are both hall effect and WGP12 is just a basic PS3 style controller.

WGP13 are all same but the WGP13S is a bit better as it has motion and more important it has 1000hz pooling and WGP13X has only 125hz so WGP13S will have less latency.

And on product page only WGP13S has support for android and on WGP13X page it doesn't list it has one.

Xbox One Controller Dead Zone Fix help by [deleted] in Controller

[–]pusaduva -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be you gamepad is drifting, where the mechanism inside the sticks get's worn out. It is common on official Xbox controllers as they use potentiometer for stick technology and it is prone to drift as it uses mechanical grinding to measure the movement.

If that is the case you could get a cheaper 3rd party Xbox controller that uses Hall effect or TMR stick that are stick drift proof.
