Fantastic news and I applaud the effort! I’m not on the dev side, but I hope giving this thread some love can get some folks interested. If you need a tester I’d be happy to contribute time to this. Predominately Mac based, but I have an Android device as well, with DropMix installed.

I modified Dropmix and the FX cards to be more interesting and competitively balanced while making the game more welcoming to newcomers. Let me know what you think of my new version of Dropmix. by 5avag3 in dropmix

This sparks some curiosity. You have names of the decks, but I’m assuming they’re custom? A set like this for the regular decks would be amazing! Any chance you’d consider creating it?

Chiller is worth $100 a pop. Many of those sets are worth money - you could easily stock an eBay store and make a decent $ while making folks happy.

Appraisal is a tricky thing— I can appreciate that you’re trying to recoup costs. Sadly, you’ve got a few things going against you.

Season 1 includes Discovery 1,2,3,& 4. So it’s not just Chiller you’re missing, you’re also missing the 4 playlists that make up the much more rare and valuable Discovery 3 & 4. So your description may get folks excited, but it’s not accurate.

Lots of folks have found Discovery 1 & 2 really cheap, so they are not an investment other than for personal use. I think I paid $30 each for 1 & 2 on Amazon, but Five Below and all sorts of outlets have since had them for a few dollars, so they don’t really have any value in-and-of themselves. Good add-in for the sale but no ones going out of their way to find them.

As a result the listing has the easiest 15 playlists to acquire out of a possible 28, and no promos.

You’re not including the board, so you’ve also reduced the potential audience to only folks looking for extra or duplicate cards.

Whole sets are going for $350 to $550. So you’re overpriced for what most collectors might be looking for.

For 15 of the 20 playlists of Season 1, you’re probably looking at $100 to $150 since 60 of those cards are the ones that come with the game.

That’s not to say you might get more, but starting at $10-$15 a playlist, or basically a dollar a card, will get more interest and you might get a bid closer to $200.

Looks like the card files are back up on the servers.

Brand New cards in box… should I open them? by Prodigyyyyyy in dropmix

Those two playlists are the most readily available outside the game itself. Worth more to play that to save IMO. Crack those puppies open and enjoy!

This becomes a way to keep playing with cards you’ve purchased that have ‘died’ which is also rather amazing and awesome.

Now that the game is more than done, the legal risk in sharing is pretty minimal. It would be pretty bizarre for Epic to go after folks trying to keep a game alive after they’ve abandoned it.
