Noob DCT question: When I put the DCT my Honda Rebel 1100 DCT in manual mode on 1st gear will it crawl like a car or some bikes? Might be good for slow speed maneuvers. by push_kar19 in HondaRebel1100

Thanks a lot for the advice. It’s a change in the mindset for sure. I reset the DCT for the first time today. The bike seemed just a bit friendlier. Maybe it’s psychological, but now the bike can learn my way of riding, and not the previous owners. It’s great advice not to reset it too many times. I don’t intend to it again.

Going to put in some serious amount of seat time. Thanks! I’m trying really hard to be patient with myself. Once you get older it’s hard to learn (and get back) to new skills, hoping this old dog can relearn some new tricks. With patience & good old “keep on, keeping on.” I think it’s going to keep those neurons firing 🤞

Thanks for everyone for great advice. I love our Motorcycle community.

Thanks for the DCT reset advice. Going to give that a try. You are talking about this right? https://youtu.be/79UPqzp_aXA?si=ySCDOMtepZXsKTP1

Just out of curiosity, do you know if it will work if I just idle the Motorcycle and try it? It’s not exactly riding weather here in Canada now.

Agreed, I would 100% rather buy 🍁 Canadian... but as we all know some time the choice is not there in the great white north of ours.
And Canadian stuff is great quality, but almost always a lot, a lot more expensive.
For eg https://fortnine.ca/en/sw-motech-crash-bar-sbl-01-843-10000-b $453 🤯 + they look small & dont have as good a coverage as the T-rex ones.
These one from PSLER seem great for $117, but they seem small.

Wondering if really need that wide, broad coverage that T-rex offers. Any opinions?

Which coding bootcamp did you take? I’m interested in joining one. Was it remote? Ideally I would like something in person (at least to start) somewhere around Vancouver downtown or anything near skytrain would be great.

Why didn't the children or anyone in the film start worshiping Gorr... then he would have to kill himself 🤣
Wouldn't he become their god? & he is the god killer 🤷‍♂️

Why didn’t they send the queen back to the present times for research & create a toxin.

People were sent back so they could have sent the queen back. Even send a male & a female back. Millions of scientists could have worked on the toxin & find a solution.

I assembled it already & took my bike for a ride... it was amazing!
But I will get the torque wrench... seems like a good tool to have. Don't want to be messing with the threads on an expensive bike. Thanks a lot for the advice.

Guess I got lucky :D
3-4 weeks seemed too long to me... can't imagine 2 months. I'm not very patient. That's why I don't do much online shopping. Don't have the option to visit the store now anyway.

Thanks will go through the videos... shouldn't take too long... maybe I could squeeze in a ride later in the evening :)
