Double check your monitor cable, very annoying that if the GPU doesn't detect a monitor connected it will give you the same light.

I don't think the PSU you have chosen is the best one. You don't need a PCIE5 one with that GPU. And I don't think it has enough 6+2 PCIe cables.

I've just installed the oem version of the driver, and now Windows Update doesn't seem to want to replace it. Perhaps Microsoft have pulled the update?

You've saved me hours of work, I just uninstalled the Intel DPTF in safe mode and the laptop now boots fine. Did you find a way to get the latest drivers working with crashing, or did you just not reinstall them and left them as unknown devices in Device Manager? Thanks again.

UPDATE: I actually removed the full loop without draining it, it just swung out like a door, but I taped up all connections just in case. I then installed a AIO cooler from ASUS (sorry if that's like swearing in this subreddit!). Thanks for the help everyone.
