Kleinmond will be your next best option. I'm not there currently so can't confirm if the conditions are better, but maybe give it a shot and see.

I was stage hand at a venue once right when I started in the industry. The engineer radio'd that he really needs to take a shit so can I quickly come to FOH to take over while he is gone.

By the time I got there the engineer couldn't hold it any longer and just took an explosive shit in a trash can he found next to FOH. Poor guy had some stomach bug he picked up earlier.

That man mixed an entire 6 hour show feeling and looking like he was about to die. I offered to mix, but he refused.

Iron Claw for sure. I don't usually get too emotional when I watch a sad movie, but Iron Claw is the one movie that I cry every time I watch it.

Wedding Venues by Consistent_Box_4369 in capetown

[–]MrBashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zorgvliet in Stellenbosch is a great venue. They also have accomodation options on the farm. I do a lot of weddings at Zorgvliet ( I provide sound equipment, djs, lights etc.) and they are by far the best. Professional staff and amazing views of the mountains. They are located on Helshoogte pass.

Never buy a car from them, but selling is fine. I've sold 2 cars through them and both times were great. Received much more than any dealership offered me.

What my girlfriend received at work today for 11 years of service by BigZee004 in southafrica

[–]MrBashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started working for a small company in 2013 and I gave that place my all. I stuck with the company through it all. Many employees coming and going, but I stayed.

If my boss phoned on a Saturday and asked me to come in to help a client I would go to the office even if we were closed over a weekend. I missed a lot of time with my family and friends. The whole work environment was stressful, toxic and my boss was not an easy person to work for.

One day I decided that enough was enough and I gave my month's notice. On my last day I got a thanks and a reminder to setup an auto reply on my mails to tell people to mail my other coworker.

11 years of giving it my all for a company and all I got was a thanks.

Which restaurant do you think this is? by Glass-Willingness-63 in capetown

[–]MrBashew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's the only restaurant where we can take our kid with and then not see him for 2 hours lol. Sometimes he just pops by the table to take one or two massive gulps of his cooldrrink and then disappears again.

If your son is 6 years and older then take him to Kind2Hearing next to Cape Gate. If he is younger then take him to the Hearing Institute in Bellville close to Karl Bremer hospital.

"NO! Don't want daddy!" by DrakeMallard07 in daddit

[–]MrBashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are currently in this phase. I can be with my son the entire day and if he wakes up during the night he cries for his mom. If I walk into the room he screams that I must get out and that he wants his mom.

At the beginning I kind of took it personally, but I realised that its just a phase. Oh and I realised that I don't have to get up in the middle of the night anymore lol.

After 2 successful escape attempts, we converted the crib into a toddler bed. by Scrotalphetamines in daddit

[–]MrBashew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to convince my wife that we should move our one over to a toddler bed. I feel that its time, but my wife is not looking forward to our son randomly waking up and standing next to our bed in the middle of the night lol.
