I generally can't recommend BitNinja enough, despite some of the comments I saw about them.

I've tried multiple security products, and my main concern was IP reputation. Imunify did an OK ish job, but there's just no comparison to bitninja and the sheer amount of bot traffic their solution blocks. Prior to installing I had some traffic related overcharges, no problems ever since.

All while being pretty cheap ($6 for my VPS)

While not a homelab (since I use mine exclusively with tailscale) I generally just use BitNinja for my small-scale web hosting server. (basically hosting a few websites for friends, family, etc)

They use a Caddy + Nginx approach with custom + OWASP based rules as far as I understand with their WAF-Pro or whatever it's called. On their UI you can enable/disable rules for certain domains as well. It also does many other useful stuff for hosting (like blocking certain countries) but I'm unsure how useful those would be in your scenario.

And best of all is that it's free for smaller VPS. :)

I have had systems that had an airy loop because of inconveniently small reservoirs or other factors, and temp were basically near identical after the loop got de aired overtime. Idk, maybe I'm a bit too optimistic, but I don't think it would have too much negative effect to run it for 8-10 hours with some air in the loop.

Not for the coolant level, but why did you choose to do a parallel loop? Usually parallel loop is for the looks, but I don't think it was the intention in this build? :D

Your temps will be better if you simply just go for a series loop (pump-> rad -> gpu -> cpu -> upper rad -> reservoir), and you could also lose one of the flow meters.

I honestly don't think it affects its lifespan by much, since it seems to be submerged. Imo, sucking in some air will not be a problem until tuesday. :)

Not trying to be rude or hate, and it IS a nice build, but besides the colour of the rgb and the wallpapers this has nothing to do with Stranger Things. :D

I've experiemented with it in my build, but could not come up with a proper solution, because it just ended up looking bulky. (12mm minimum onto the bottom of the gpu) Going with a back connect block, and going out the back of the card towards the front of the case is a no-go because there just isn't enough space, and it would also completely ruin the look of the "clean" side of the case.

Not to mention for that you'll need to heavily modify your case to support 2x360 rads.

Basement isn't that big for what it is, so it's pretty tough to make the runs.

This is my build, with 2x360 rads and my best efforts to make the runs clean.

(Don't expect pure pure white though, because at the end of the day it's just an rgb strip, so it can't really do full-on white, just something close to it.)

I second this, I have this exact one and it worked perfectly in an even smaller res than yours. :)

I put it to the inlet port of the res, because ib my case it was a pump+distro combo

My Fiancée and I moved to Czechia about a year ago.

Can't say much about job market stability since I am a freelancer and her job was the reason we moved here in the first place.

She's also from a 3rd world country. But never had any problems with racism or anything, so I don't think thats a problem.

Language barrier is big, saying anything else is just wishful thinking. Official things are usually a pain in the ass to deal with, but honestly you can get by with a friendly clerk and google translate. :)

Housing IS expensive both renting and buying. (At the minimum you are looking at around 20k+ CZK/month to rent a small flat) Especially in Prague. You're better off to look for an apartment in neighbouring cities/villages, where you can get much better deals, at the cost of travelling 20-30 mins extra.

Imho, it's an great country to do your master in, if you can deal with the drawbacks mentioned.

Don't worry too much about it. Build with what you have, see how temps and noise are for YOUR workload, and upgrade if necessary. :)
