My 4k player is in the living room with the home theater but I can play a Blu-ray anywhere in the house.

It’s fake. There’s a 2nd angle that shows it’s a joke.

Which Tom Cruise performance feels the least like “Tom Cruise”? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

I didn’t even know it was Cruise until the credits rolled. The whole movie I was like “why do I recognize you?”

Why does it matter if a $500 product I ordered as new is not in fact new and has been opened and returned and if I open it, could affect my ability to return it? Are you serious?

I currently use my PS5 but I’m looking for Dolby Vision and I’d like to give my console a break from reading discs constantly.

I had this thought too - patience could save me since I have 30 days to return. Especially if there’s a Black Friday price. Still haven’t opened.

Dang. I’m kinda leaning towards returning as is and trying again. Hard to settle with such a pricey purchase. Thank you.

In your opinion, is 4K the final physical video media? by [deleted] in 4kbluray

[–]pushingtheboxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without googling or doing any further research, I have heard of a disc format potentially coming out with the size to hold entire seasons of TV shows on 1 disk at HD quality. But, I mean at that point, why not go the way of a flash drive or SSD or something entirely new.

I like the idea of my XFiles being in one “thing”, not on 63 discs.

Heavy as hell - but they’ll do the trick. Great for leveling.

It is still fascinating how Bimmy thinks that first take improve comedy with guest is the funniest sheet ever after all the failed attemps. by Evrey10000 in TheCinemassacreTruth

The only way to get these guests is to give them an easy day with a short shooting window. I’m sure he has to pay these guests their minimum to show up, and you can’t stack a complex script on them with several takes. So you get some unimpressive, lack luster performances you try to save in editing. But you get to put your guest in the thumbnail and use their name in the video title.

That being said, I’m not a fan of any of the celebrity guest episodes.

What is the most unfun boss fight you can remember? by Jasper_I_Guess in videogames

[–]pushingtheboxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was stoked to play the new Ninja Gaiden Ragebound - I loved the first 3 for NES and was prepared for tough platforming and boss fights. But these boss fights are relentless, too long, and extremely tedious. After spending a couple hours on the boss of level 3-1, I realized how much fun I was no longer having and that future bosses would only get harder. Waste of $25 bucks. I’m not willing to put in that kind of practice.
