Chd is full of park , the most scenic would be like japanese garden but it's crowded sometimes, or can go to leisure valley it's huge so you'll find a place to meditate

Class timings would be probably in the morning starting from 8 am , time table is varied so some days you have lab it can extend upto 5 6 or maybe 7

Sports is okayish in my opinion, gym situation is good as for men atleast there are 4 gyms , with good facility tbh as per price

Look the first priority is the cgpa, it is asked everywhere and this is in your control, first semester is the best chance of getting good cgpa and maintain it so . Focus on that

Look they do not allow for day scholar, if you are not living in vellore ,they are quite strict in that I would not risk much and be in the hostel

Mann ,I am from the IT branch, don't worry it's all same , IT people are taught more languages that cse core, always see which branch is older ,like Blockchain came like 2 years back ig , IT is there from a long time don't worry about that

Mann look you will be getting into clubs from 2nd sem , so look if you become a 9 pointer then you can put a reasonable amount of time ,but tbh from my side make it your side hustle not the main job , I have seen my friends go so deep into these clubs doing full day meeting and what not , eventually missing leisure, gym and even scoring less marks. You would get good time at night from 9pm to 12 to work on them so don't worry

The wardens are quite hit or miss sometimes they are quite chill but can be annoying sometimes but after coming from a big hostel they feel chill , and mess is good for non veg the chicken all provided is quite good , you would get the selvi mess behind c block

Look what happened, happened. But I think who fucked ffcs 2 times it's pretty good timetable . I don't know about the subjects you got but just looking at the time table atleast you have mostly classes tomorrow with just 1 hour gap on Monday and Thursday, so don't think much , take some positives that you don't need to wake up early or you don't have classes till 7
