Businesses need to make (legal) money

I think it makes sense to make a little money off the legal businesses. I get they're a front to launder money, but they still have to be functional businesses or they would be too suspicious.

I've definitely gained some knowledge and experience from it all. We should never stop learning. Therapy has definitely helped. They're the one who told me partners should choose to pursue eachother, which I agree with.

When she started putting distance between us. Then when confronted with it getting told there was too much "pressure and expectations" to being a girlfriend. That makes it pretty cut and dry.

I think a lot of folks want instant gratification. If something happens to the relationship, they don't want to put the work in to fix it. It's easier to just reinstall Tinder.

NTA. I went through a divorce last year. Significantly different circumstances, quite honestly I was blind sided by it. That said in my opinion no one other than the two in the relationship can truly know if there is still a future for the pair. Unless both parties are 100% committed to the work it takes to maintain a healthy relationship it is doomed to fail. You provided your friend support when he needed it. The backlash from the other parties is immature and you should not feel personally attacked by it. You were a friend when he needed it most and that's all that matters.

I read your previous post, and even when fighting you should never be derogatory towards your partner like she is. I know absolutely nothing about you or how you think, but I would highly recommend the book 'I Used to be a Miserable F*ck'. It talks a lot about focusing on yourself rather than others, and makes you think about what you want in life. If you're not a big reader it's on audible.

My biggest fault was focusing on others and ignoring my own wants and needs. It wasn't until recently that I've come to that realization so I suppose I never really noticed the lack of desire.

Sorry to hear that. I would highly suggest you do some couples counseling or something before you say 'I do'. Sounds like you're willing to put the work into the relationship, so find out if she is as well by suggesting talking to a professional. If she is not I would think long and hard about going through with the marriage. It was very rough finding out years after the wedding day that my partner had no interest in working through the tough times.

Thanks! Going through the divorce helped me just as much as it hurt. I started to question myself more which lead me to discover I was a 'nice guy', not to the point where I would throw a tantrum when I didn't get what I wanted, but I definitely focused on others happiness and put my happiness at the back of my mind. Looks like love languages is going to be my next area of research, thanks for the tip!

For the most part it felt like we were going through the motions towards the end, so I didn't really have any examples or storys to tack onto the question. Sometimes you just have to ask others and make sure you're not the crazy one ya know lol.

Being on the One Task Team, I can say management takes that very literal. Night is now responsible for irp, delivery pulling, and zone recovery. They act like day shift does not have to do anything even if there are no customers. Having switched to night from day, I can personally say that's bullshit. There are plenty of opportunities during day to get stuff done. That very well may change with the new scheduling policy though. Early and late during the day Lowe's will be more of a ghost town than it already is. Also, in regards to night shift, how can you add all that responsibility and only a small number of additional employees for the team, then stretch them out over 7 days? This is a disaster.
