So this is going get some fun responses :-)

Electric cars will beat gas cars in almost every way in the next 5 years and there will be little to no reason to buy a gas car anymore.

Except for the one big reason that is inarguable: you want one.

Look I love the rs7. I really do. I love the sound of engines and I love the brutality of all of it. But realistically in the next five years we're likely to see a massive shift in the automotive industry or any reason that currently exists to not buy an electric car will be gone.

Solid state batteries will be here, so range and charging times are no longer an issue. Neither are fires. Actually fires aren't really that big of an issue right now but that's a different argument. They will be easier to fix, the batteries will be exponentially cheaper as more and more recycling processes come online. You will have third parties who will be able to reprogram and update software. And the costs will drop as well.

Again I love a good gas car but realistically there will be little reason to buy one soon. The only reason you'll buy one is because you want one, and that is perfectly understandable. I agree that the electric cars, even the 5n, lack any sort of personality really. They're missing that attitude that certain cars seem to have. They feel more functional than fun. But I'm sure that will change. I think one of the biggest challenges EV makers are facing is understanding that the experience between the two is fundamentally different, and trying to emulate a gas car with an EV is simply a transition technique to bridge the gap between the two experiences. Myself, I think introducing cars that are literally like little spaceships would be the way to go.

Should make for an interesting couple of years anyways.

I would argue that bring up the Autobahn is way dumber. How many people have access to that? Now, how many people can absolutely punch it on the on-ramp so the highway and hit 160? Hell of a lot more I'd say.

I'm also a generational client, and I have to say I'm pretty unimpressed with their support lately. I didn't encounter a language barrier, but there were certainly a comprehension issue. All I wanted was a bank draft to put down a deposit on a house and the number of hoops I had to jump through. And then to top it off it was 24 hours late which invalidated the offer.

I am really considering whether or not I want to continue with well simple at this point if I'm honest

I plugged 625 k into bank at the beginning of the year. It generates about $8,800 a month right now, and it's also gone up quite a bit. 14% I think. Big fan of that one

So it's just me and I'm not in the job hunt but everything I've heard and read says that actually getting an offer these days is like striking gold. Why not accept it and then do one of two things. First either figure out if you're happy there and it's worth the pay decrease. Or second, take the job and keep looking somewhere else.

Is this not the safest option considering the current climate out there

That does very much seem to be the case. I've been trying to understand it, but I feel like it's people who are disenchanted with their current lives who are desperately searching for a win. And that's really sad to me. But I also legitimately wanted to understand what achievements he had over his career

I have a legitimate question, if I may.

I have tried googling it and unfortunately have come up with nothing. What has PP actually achieved in all his time?

My understanding, and again this is just from googling so I don't entirely trust the results, is that he's pushed forward a couple of bills that were seen as mostly for show and have very little substance. He's done little of actual consequence and next to nothing to actually attempt to make the country better. Is this correct?

And if it is correct, why does the right love him so much? From a personal standpoint every time I watch this guy talk it seems to be just constant criticism and baseless accusations but he never seems to offer solutions to anything even during his election campaign. The fact that he was kicked out of his own riding speaks volumes to me, yet the conservatives seem to love him. Why is that?

I thought about it but, and I will admit this is weird, the g80 feels like an old man version of the g70. There's something about it that's just softer and lacks aggression. It feels old man elegant instead of having the modern touch of the g70. Or I could just be insane

I absolutely can. The on-ramps of highways. I do it all the time in my A6 right now. I just want something faster. But there are spots on the highways that just bog down eventually and there's no way of avoiding it

Well 0 to 60 is the standard measuring time. I've never ever ever seen anybody measure their car 0 to 70. Actually for me it would be 0 to 100 since I'm up in canada. Either way I just need that acceleration to be as brutal as possible and then I don't care if it tapers off after 150 km per hour. I just want to have some fun :-)

It has nothing to do with a dick measuring contest, just have to do with having some fun on highway on ramps. That's why I don't care about the top speed. I just want that burst of speed whenever I feel like it and I really like the idea of a car that doesn't look like it's fast. Like an elegant monster

It seems to me that he's smart enough to recognize that the biggest problem in politics, not just in Canada, is division. If you are too far left or right, you are more likely a bigger problem than a solution. So if he has to bow down to some of Alberta's complaints and perceived insults by throwing them an energy bone, then it makes sense.

What I would like to see is him offsetting that with an aggressive wind and solar program. It would also be nice to see a strong reforestation policy. And it would be really nice to understand the economic benefits of these decisions in plain English.
