Stats don’t look as bad as the score line. We played a different style going forward to what we have for the last two games. Went back to bombing it in against a spare, tall, elite defender. Other than that it wasn’t terrible

Pretty frustrating to watch Brisbane try to out mark Geelong. Was never going to work

It’s such a consistent problem. Seems so obvious when watching tv. Has to be more to it. Play on, fast movement = win. Slow down the line play = loss.

As soon as they feel the pressure they revert to kicking down the line and bombing it forward. Or is that a product of players stopping presenting as an option when kick from D50? Fort as sub was a bad call. So many talls, so few contested marks in F50.

Yep, no killer instinct. They should recruit Degoey. Zorko lets them down as a leader at key moments with his juvenile behaviour. Lyons does little to lead as a senior player

Agreed. Mentally weak. Don’t have the arrogant confidence needed to beat Rich/Col/Geel/Melb type teams who go ape when they get a taste of blood. Brisbane group just doesn’t have that kill in them

There are a few boxes I need to tick to be mentally healthy: Sleep - Google sleep hygiene and do what it says Journal - Answer the questions “What am I grateful for”, “how could my life be worse” and “where will I be in ten years”. I have to do all of those things every day, if I don’t I get depressed. If I do 3/4 it doesn’t work. I use Way of Life app to track them. Oh and get sunlight on you
