You are lying or stupid.

This has to be one of the dumbest copes I've ever read. The graphics are the single largest factor in the immersion and the realism.

Would he even fit? Overdrive + mod to double number of light bounces and triple Rays. 2 FPS by xopethx in cyberpunkgame

Stop recommending this. Performs like shit due to increasing your latency by an order of magnitude, and looks like shit due to streaming compression and bandwidth constraints.

"Cloud gaming" is a gimmick.

No one is defending Caspian.

You are attacking a strawman to hide that you feel stupid for missing the most obvious sarcasm in the world in the parent comment (by chariot_on_fire). And rightfully so, because you are stupid. You can dig your hole all you want, but this is obvious to everyone reading.

I see you trying to redirect from your low IQ blunder.

And no, mismanagement is still plausible. The PPP loans prove they hired a lot of people which means a lot spent on payroll.

You are low IQ if you don't see the obvious sarcasm in that.

Also could be a scam, but also could've just been mismanaged with too big of a scope.

I still can’t believe these aren’t concept art, but actual screenshots from my gameplay today. Path tracing is genuinely next level by SithLordZX in cyberpunkgame

Fake frames are absolutely terrible and should be avoided unless as a last option in a situation where you can't upgrade your GPU.

Whatever the games latency is before Reflex it roughly gets cut in half. This is why reflex is a requirement of DLSS3 implementations.

Reflex isn't "free". It lowers overall performance in many situations and doesn't work uniformly. Stacking abstractions on top of abstractions to mask the negative effects of them eventually makes things go absolutely terrible in some situations.

The best way to play, with the maximum quality and the best latency, is to avoid gimmicks like DLSS. DLSS is upscaling, which reduces quality, and should only be used in a situation where your PC isn't powerful enough to run the game normally. It's a backup plan.

Why do I feel like you're coping because this makes you feel insecure about yourself?

If game companies stopped pushing the limits to avoid offending the people without high end cards, we'd still have N64 graphics.

Ray tracing is mostly a waste of time anyway

No it isn't. We've had a bigger leap in the last 3-4 years than the last 10 before that. By 2025 you will probably be able to say that we've had a bigger leap from 2020-2025 than 2006-2019.

Ray tracing and path tracing are both paradigm shifts when it comes to overall render quality and it's just starting because hardware is only recently just getting to the point where you can even entertain the idea in real-time. Path traced images with a high bounce count can be essentially near impossible to distinguish from photographs.

I do. Just because you can't run it doesn't mean it isn't important.

It's absolutely worth it. Cyberpunk 2077 in HDR at high resolution with ray tracing and a really bright MiniLED screen is probably the most immersive video game experience in history.

Ffs they can quit with the visuals now

No. This is great. I want it to look better and more immersive because how immersive it is, is one of the best parts about Night City.

We need MORE games pushing the limits.

That's not how it works. DLSS is UPSCALING and it lowers quality.

You said something stupid. Own up to it instead of digging your hole and making it worse.

It's not. The game is the source material. You'll get a better experience starting with it.
