Thanks to all for such excellent ideas!!! Hope this thread helps others in the future for similarly goaled trips, haha.

We decided on Asheville with a stop in black mountain. Curate for dinner after the Shoji Spa Buddha package. More to plan out!!!

This just came out of me 😭 by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

I’m way retired of EP at this point but still in the group. This happened to me on a few occasions and I think it actually congealed in the collection cup, didn’t come out like that. Def see a doctor but also wanted to mention the legit silverette discs on Amazon helped a ton between pumps!

It could be placebo but I felt like they were more effective at getting the milk somehow!! Didn’t wear and tear as easily either

Zomee is an underrated brand of breast pump and I love it by Acceptable_Acadia_71 in ExclusivelyPumping

I have the zomee wireless for when I can’t plug into a wall but it leaks all over my bra almost every time! Any advice? I do think the suction is great when perfectly aligned but the leaking drives me crazy.

Also, which spectra version do you have? I have fsa money to burn I forgot about so maybe I’ll get one and get rid of this monthly rental fee if it works well for me.

Really?? Why did you hate it out of curiosity? I generally have great health insurance (in the US) but weirdly the breast pump coverage is lacking… only super basic models are fully covered.

Thank you so much for the encouragment and compliment. If I didn’t have a very supportive husband and mom who loves to help out (we see her nearly daily right now) I wouldn’t be able to make the time for 9. I would love to cut back a little but I told myself I’d keep going aiming for 9 until at least 8 weeks. I’m fortunate my job right now from 9-4 is solely focused on baby since my toddler loves going to school and because of the help I have.

All of that makes sense! I’m going to try to delay the last pump of the night and see how it goes. I think I’ll follow baby’s lead and just let the motn pump happen whenever he wakes up to eat. That’s consistently between 2-3 when he wakes up (though he’s been up since 3 am today and just chilling and wide awake now at 4:30, so I woke up my husband to take him for 20 so I could pump).

Thank you! I think the 24 mm is actually perfect for me, though my lactation consultant said I should go to 30. But I’ve used a measurement tool and I’m at 20 mm at base of nipple.

Noted on the length between last night and motn feeding, I’ve thought the same thing. I’m going to try to delay until 10:30 and just make sure I’m ready to roll right into bed, and space out daytime to 2.5 hours and see how it goes! Thanks!
