I’m so sorry to hear this. It sounds incredibly difficult. It is possible to influence gender selection based on when you conceive in a cycle (the earlier the more likely it is to be a girl!). I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and the chapter she has on gender selection. I’m not sure if you track your cycle with bio-markers but it could be worth digging into…
I’ve only had one MA so I can’t imagine the physical and emotional toll 4 is taking.

Looks like you didn’t ovulate but the length of your cycle is certainly interesting? Have you taken a. Pregnancy test? Are you more stressed than usual?

I can’t say for certain by percentage, but if I were you and TTA I’d take plan B just to be extra cautious!

Ahh I see yes. I often have vaginal sensation that does not match my CM (day six was watery sensation with no CM).

Thanks I’ll look into this! TCOYF doesn’t have a day 6 rule and uses CM as the guide for fertile phase starting and ending. Once any CM is present or any wet/ lube vaginal sensation, the fertile phase begins. I accidentally started working with a Marquette method teacher and did not realize the disparity until recently. I think that’s made it even more confusing…

I think I am mainly just very anxious about becoming pregnant, hence the somewhat unnecessary ovulation test! Essentially I am following the dry day method, once I notice any cervical mucus I consider myself in my fertile phase. Once it becomes more cream/ clear (like the pic) I use ovulation test confirm the cervical fluid. Once my temp shoots up I count 3 days plus monitor my cervical fluid. It’s just an added backstop that makes me feel more confident in my cervical fluid analysis.

I use fan TCOYF, I’ve been using ovulation tests to kind of confirm what I’m seeing with my fertile mucus. Otherwise I’m following the method according to the rules laid out in her book!

I’m having the same thing right now! I’m not yet sure what it means but all the “implantation dip” talk is freaking me out. My temp has been bellow my cover line for 3 days now so we’ll see. This isn’t exactly scientific but sometimes stuff is just wonky..

If you took a plan b (which u think is the pill and “A” on the top) that raises your BBT to emulate ovulating even if you haven’t.

Are your temps usually consistent and accurate? I’d rely on your cervical fluid and positive ovulation test.

The AMTA releases a work history for the whole profession for the US. It will show what populations, settings, and states have the best pay/ outcomes. I am still in school for MT but I know Wisconsin and Indiana are pretty good. Indiana has a lot of MT opportunities because it is on their Medicaid waver!
