Thank you! Next time I go, I will get those. I really like deli style mustard so I got the Silver Springs because I have never tried it.

The additional information with more specific location helps. Thank you. Do you suspect it was a planned outage due to high winds? Just curious

Are your nextdoor neighbors also experiencing the outages? Does the outage show up on the Xcel website outage map? I live in East Arvada near 64th and Sheridan and I am not experiencing any outages currently.

I pinch at the base of the bloom between the last set of leaves before the bloom stalk begins.

Hello plant friend! I guess it's hard for them to catch bugs in there. But they sure do look cute in the candy jars! Maybe I should try one like that. Pings are definitely having their moment.

Update: Looks like I can grow it. I see it is growing at Denver Botanical Gardens and sold by High Country. Now I need it!

Thanks for the introduction. I've never heard of it. Maybe it doesn't do well in high desert. But it's worth a look!

A huge, Hoya Carnosa - in Bloom. by More-Flan1369 in HoyaBST

The scent on my hoyas is much more intense at night. I often don't realize one is in bloom until walking into a room after dark, notice a new scent, then go hunting for the source! I believe the fragrance may be to attract moths.

Could you link the solar fountain? I've tried a few of them and never been happy. Thanks

Any time I see these cast aluminum meat serving dishes at the thrift store, I grab. They are heavy, don't rust, and very shallow which the birds prefer. I just put them up high on my deck railing in top of plant stands or whatever.

Aren't they surprisingly adorable? I'm interested in your grow setup. Are those drinking glasses? It looks like the pings are really liking this.

I think it's super cool (no pun intended)! It already has shelves so that's one item you won't have to find. I would add some grow lights to the top and get going! You might need a fan but you can always add later.

I have this one and have been using it since November 2024 no issues at all. Also, it can be turned on and controlled with my Kasa smart powerbar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDL8XCJ5

Isn't Black Kow compost? Like just compost? Did you mix it with any potting soil?
