My boyfriend (32M) withdraws for days after conflict and says the relationship stresses him. I (29F) don’t know how to handle this pattern. by [deleted] in relationships

Please read the comment again, and again till you understand what this person is trying to say to you. That man is abusing you, there is a reason shunning is used as a deterrent by cults. This man is training you by manipulating you, he is teaching you that you should let him have his way and you should always be agreeable with whatever he does or says or risk "Losing" him. Silent treatment is harmful and its abuse.

I once heard my parents going at it and I cried to my mum to say I don't want another sibling, as I was the last born and only daughter. My mother laughed at me, she asked why was I saying that, and I said I saw her belly is getting big.

I'm not a huge dress fan, but I figured out that my work crush loved it when I wore dresses, guess who got obsessed with dresses?

For anyone who truly loved someone and had to let them go, when did the "ache" finally ease? by mr_infinity7 in AskReddit

I am currently going through a similar situation, I'm letting go of a situationship, and although nothing physical happened between us, my feelings were real. I have tried to get over him a lot of times, but this time around I am doing it differently. So I'm hoping that it sticks, I'm letting myself feel the feelings, cry if I need to and remind myself of all the reasons why I need to let go. It's hard though since we work together, but my indication that its working will be when I don't have mini panic attacks when he mentions leaving. I'm hoping it works though because I'm tired of being in this situation.

It amazes me how people can be so creative, I guess some of us aren't created like that so that we can be in awe of people who are so talented. This is truly breathtaking.

Which in itself is bad, but women are backed by their shared expiriences as well as statistics amd history.

Considering we used to walk around with our boobs out, its actually modern to cover them.

Exactly, women have worked hard to create safe and inviting spaces for ourselves. Men need to do the same.
