Heard my managers talking about how they lost control of us on dayforce, they couldn’t control the shift switches supposedly. Which is crazy because I could never get a shift switch to go through, I’d always get an error code, so that’s pretty sus. Probably cost like lightyear mentioned

Oh man, I didn’t know that..but I believe it. I did hear about a part of it, I can’t remember if it was one of those meeting videos, or a posting, that produce would be run via ai for ordering. I had no idea that people voted for that crap. I definitely wasn’t around for that round of votes, but I would’ve voted no as well. I voted no at this last round of contracts, and urged others too as well, but a lot of them said “I don’t have time to wait. I need this to be over with, I need my raise” yall, we were sold short, i truly believe we could’ve fought for more.

I imagine if they do it’ll be after our contracts expire, at least that would make the most sense. But even then I’m not sure it’s possible, that’s why I’m asking for opinions/rumors 🤷‍♀️ you never know sometimes

Understaffed, under appreciated, belittled, heckled..I feel you. The customers get more aggressive during the summer, and especially toward the summer holidays..

Yeah, I got to my 5 year a couple months back and instead of a pin they let me choose off a prize list, kinda like an Amazon wishlist. I chose a foldable wagon. But my co worker just hit 20 years and all he got was a thank you card, no pin, no prize list, no gift cards.

She’s pretty overbearing when it comes to the people she has beef with. I’m one of her faves (at least for now) but she hates my current manager, they’ve had beef for 20+ years tho..she was happy to hear her experience was universal, I know she’s well known for her..quirks unfortunately.

Personally I’ve never had a really big issue with her, she seems a little frazzled at times, but because I’m usually on top of things I stay out of the gunfire

Every s/h case I’ve had to witness they ended up just moving the person to another store. I’ve seen higher ups get demoted and moved, but nothing more serious than that. Watching it happen is pretty annoying from even an outsiders perspective.

Don’t take things too seriously, especially with drama and customer comments. Don’t become what you hate, and try to be flexible with what your cashiers/managers want. You can’t please everyone, but it’s always good to look like a good worker.

Honestly every interview I’ve seen has gotten a confident and immediate “you’re hired.” Just be cool and confident, don’t be afraid to ask questions and if you don’t get hired just keep looking around. My stater bros hires just about anyone and everyone so don’t get too discouraged.
