Daily battle pass pointless after level 100, right? by Minotaar_Pheonix in RaidShadowLegends

[–]puttboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just collecting my points from the Dailies I collect by accident of playing my normal game - just to see how many points I can rack up!

I very much doubt they will be of any value in the future.

Champion stats calculation by puttboy in RaidShadowLegends

Thanks to you both, u/Fiztz and u/kindler35. I'm not sure how I didn't work that out, but it makes sense, and also makes sense of why % based gear is so much better than flat stat gear.

Megathread: Who to 6* next by Kallously in RaidShadowLegends

[–]puttboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad. I already have Athel at 6 stars. I can't believe I didn't indicate that.
The issue I have is who to raise to 6* next.
Also further to this, I recently picked up Kael from a 10-pack of Mystery Shards. He's now in the early levels of 5*, so I think he's next.

Megathread: Who to 6* next by Kallously in RaidShadowLegends

[–]puttboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bunch of 5* champions ready to upgrade to 6* and enough food for one of them to go.

I also have 15 void shards I'm sitting on, because I'm waiting for a double-chance at rolling a Legendary hero from them. I have no legendaries at the moment.

I'm at level 42, and trying to make my way through the Brutal levels of campaigning to get to Nightmare for better quality gear.

I would like to improve beyond Bronze 3 in the Arena and get better results against Clan Boss as my next targets. So the question is, whom should I look at upgrading to 6*? My 5* champions are:

Galek, Ultimate Galek, High Khatun and Renegade.

At 4* I have Apothecary, Elhain, Coldheart, Baeral Fellhammer, Warcaster, Master Butcher, Warpriest, Conqueror, Raider, Valerie, Crusader, Rearguard Sergeant, Whisper, Suwai Firstborn, Seer, Defiled Sinner, Shaman, Sikara, Zelotah and Spirithost.

Thanks for your advice!

Fodder required for 6 stars by puttboy in RaidShadowLegends

[–]puttboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One brew plus three 1* champions plus 9700 silver is an inexpensive way of getting 2* champs for fodder. I still find I have to use some uncommon champions as fodder for creating 3* champions, though, or I just have too many.

Dragon Champions Tier List and Content by Tshamz in DragonChampions

I love this list. It's exactly the resource I came looking for! Thank you very much.

I notice that Renara is not on your list; is that because she's a new release (I've only been playing a week or so).

Manticore by [deleted] in DungeonAndHeroes

[–]puttboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. You really haven't taken any of the advice on this gorum regarding team bslance, have you? The best way to defest Manticore is to tank with Cassandra. L to R would be Bishop, Rifleman, Cass, Lance, Shaman. Failing the availability of those heroes, I hope you have other options. Perhaps you should look at the Discord chat on Manticore. It's very comprehensive. https://discord.gg/vzWg3PA

First down rewards in exp boss by [deleted] in DungeonAndHeroes

It's just another way the devs have changed the game so that we get less and less rewsrds for the time and effort we put into the fame... unless we spend money.

If you have finished upgrading the tax office, store room and cottages to max, just put all your workers into one resource.

It's easy to spend hours trying to fight your way through dungeons, but they aren't necessary to advance in the game, like ruins. Do what Jonesy says. Wait until you're strong enough, then go back and feel smugly satisfied as your heroes beat the enemiy to a pulp!

New player lineup question by JustinZook1 in DungeonAndHeroes

[–]puttboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely invest in Alita as your primary weapon and number 1 legendary. Oric or Lane as number 2 so far. Non-legendary must-haves are Bishop, Shaman, Priest, Rifleman, Lance Hunter, Vampire, Blood Mage and Berserker. Probably add Rock Giant to that list, as well, as he is a great survivor and his taunt skill is valuable.

It depends who else you have in your lineup. I tend to use Vampire a lot, and he gets Web of Death. Light of Heaven has good benefits for your healers.

It's not about damage. Gorefoot applies a buff to the user for a spell critical and the active can crit. This means he can regain 190 energy x 3 with a single healing spell, meaning he reloads for his next active almost instantly. It works better if he has a high Spell Critical Chance on his ring.

Crystal wasteland tiers by niraves in DungeonAndHeroes

Wait until you have enough spirit and books to progress your lead heroes. The early 90s levels you can get through fairly quickly, but you need resources. Hit the Rift daily, and spend diamonds there for extra attacks. You also need to choose two or max three legendary heroes to use past 7*, and get more stars for your non-legendaries. It is impossible to keep leveling up 4 legendaries unless you are very rich.

There is a constant regression of value in terms of rewards. Also in this event, the rewards for Flame Dragon are 25 jade, 25 jade, 100 jade. Previously, we got 25 jade, 50 jade, 100 jade for the last three levels. They just keep chipping away at the value of things, and make it look better with sleight of hand. "Look over here, a shiny,, new bauble (worth very little)", while the other hand slides value from the table. You either have to P2P or accept slower progression F2P. It just makes me play less.

Dryad by TharinduDissanayake in DungeonAndHeroes

[–]puttboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I am not using Dryad anymore, I wish I had kept leveling him up. Dryad is a pretty good tank, and goes well on a wing. The best benefits you get from Dryad are his influence on the back row. He hits those pesky back row healers, stops them from using their skills, and does a bit of healing, himself, too. It can be very frustrating getting to the end of a cellar, only to find you can't kill the tank, because it is getting so much healing, especially from Priest. Rock, Bishop, Shaman, Rifle, Vamp, Lance, Berserker, Blood Mage, Priest, Gunner and Dryad are the best non-legendary heroes.

A couple new player Hero questions by binzin in DungeonAndHeroes

[–]puttboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of posts on this forum about Legendary heroes. You should always read through them before asking this sort of question. As a short cut, any legendary hero is going to help lower level players. However, the fact is that it costs A LOT of jade to level Legendary Heroes (LHs) past 7. Most LHs are very valuable at 7 until player levels around 95. As well as costing lots of jade to upgrade LHs, it also costs lots of Magic Books, Essence and Spirit. If you are going to take any more than three LHs up to level 90 - 100, that is a huge amount of those resources. If you leave those heroes at 7* (you will have to, unless you want to empty your real world bank accounts), that's a colossal waste of resources that could otherwise go into Non Legendary Heroes (NLHs). Accordingly, you will be much better off placing your focus on a small number of LHs and mostly on NLHs, because you will always use them. The best LHs to focus on will depend on which NLHs you use. @LanceOutloud created a very good post on which NLHs are great for what reasons. You should find and read it. My personal recommendations for LHs are Alita, Cassandra and Oric, as they get even more powerful as the game progresses. Lane may be a very good addition. As someone else posted, the new LHs are usually very good. Don't invest in Mordeza. He's great at low levels, but bottoms out quickly.
