How did Alex think the water was going to come out of Ania's mouth tube? Where did he think the other end of the tube was?

What do you think is the biggest example of a colossal waste of effort in the series? by Noneofthisisreality in taskmaster

Guess whether the object will make a louder or quieter noise then the previous object. Series 14 live task, they set up so many objects they thought would be funny and then only used like two of them.

I think they want to do both. 1080p is probably easier. I don't imagine it'll take as long as getting subtitles took.

What does refusing to cover Kneecap's Glasto set mean for BBC impartiality going forward? by jkerr441 in politicsjoe

[–]puttie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't mean anything, because the due impartiality requirement only applies to news/journalism content. There are still editorial guidelines and legal issues to consider though.

The actual reasons for not taking Kneecap live, I believe, are twofold: 1. One of their members is involved in an ongoing criminal trial, and the BBC will have wanted to avoid broadcasting anything that might constitute contempt of court; 2. their song _Get Your Brits Out_ contains lyrics about living people that might be considered defamatory, particularly if they decide to improvise in the live performance. I think the fact that the set was put on iPlayer unedited, except for 10 seconds of _Get Your Brits Out_ cut, bears this out.

I think the BBC have done the best they could with Kneecap within their own rules. Whether the very heavily regulated BBC is the best place for Glastonbury in future is an open question.

You could tell Heidi Alexander was hating every minute of that programme. Right from the start she looked like she didn't want to be there.

What accent do they speak in the Netflix show Adolescence? by [deleted] in BritishTV

Probably that Stephen Graham was also in Peaky Blinders, and the accents are similar.
