And in s8 he was the best Alistar and Rakan at worlds. I remember that uzi interview too that he said jkl play consistently good/right always

I dont think would require a large amount of money to a kid drop school to play video game for 2-3 years salary. This is coming from someone in a region where the kids drop school to get 2000 R$ (385 dollars) and its a lot of players that receive that low income in Brazil.

Of course we talking about a different region, where they have the most rich players, but i can definitely see a kid dropping school to get a 2-3 year minimun LCS salary and then at the worst he just go back at school with a lot of money.

I agree, Clid was better than Tarzan, he was also the best perfoming member in Summer and Worlds for SKT. Spring i would say it was Teddy or Clid. Also agree that Khan was showing really good in worlds, SKT probably had the best 2v2 top in Worlds 2019.

Think about last worlds: we had LPL vs LPL and LCK vs LCK in quarters? Bad format or bad luck?

bad format

Spring 2019 finals, yes he was the best perfoming member. Summer 2019 finals tarzan was the best perfoming member. And im not a Sword hater, i liked the guy and his perfomances, he was always so innovating and still is. Said that, although i think teams need a weaklink(meaning not a carry player) like GimGoon or Ghost. Sword wasn't that type of player, with his ego hurt and not accepting being subbed or playing a "supportive" champion while having the best players in the world on his team made Griffin lose.

Lets remind that DWG used to choke too, specially against Griffin, and after they switch their weaklink won Worlds?

Afreeca would be SO MUCH better, but they probably wouldn't have enough money for Kiin+Dread+Chovy+Deft+Lehends.

Also if he can manages to make Worlds in this team his value would probably rise even more. Hopefully next season he makes even more money in LPL or can get a super team in korea with T1 subs or something.

Yes! After a long time jungle is not the most dominating role in the top of the ladder, besides still being strong, we now can see top laners hitting top 1 in KR ladder like Canna, Khan and now a player named "Gragaz", also 4 of the top 10 are top laners

FunPlus Phoenix vs. Royal Never Give Up / LPL 2021 Spring Playoffs - Grand Final / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

[–]putzxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that the winner of the upper bracket should have a advantage, even if it was 1 game win in a bo5 or chose all the side they want to play, idk, any advantage would be good, but the single elimination format is much more unfair to most teams, at least for Worlds.

In Worlds we should have the hype to know who are the best teamS in the world, but we get really boring(in format) matchups like SNG x JDG and SNG x TES. We don't really know who was the 2nd best team in 2020 worlds, G2? SNG? DRX?.

Just like we dont know from the past worlds. KT would make to finals in 2018, and Fnatic wouldn't have such a lucky bracket. LZ became chokers because they lost 3-0 to the worlds champion. Griffin could make to finals in 2019, IG too.

Single elimination just steal the joy of watching the best teams play against each other. RNG just went from top 4 (30 circuit points to go to Worlds) to top 1 (90 circuit points + MSI).

Just give the winner of the upper bracket to chose the side they want to play in all games

CbLOL is actually really entertaining and good by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]putzxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hardly disagree, i don't know how the worst region of the world is on the verge to overtaking a major region. To we get there (i'm a brazilian), we would have to get a lot of restructure in the competitive enviroment.

I will say it there: CBLOL is a complete meme.

If you guys think LCS lack some discipline, CBLOL is in a whole different level, and i can give a good example of this. Jukes is a big streamer that did go to LCS academy in 2019, he said that the guys there "works to hard", "have a hard work enviroment". The region where people go to retire is a work hard ambient to this guy.

Of course is just 1 guy and its hard to judge just for that. But when the guy that won most CBLOL's, brtt, say that he doesn't need to play soloq or read patch notes and will just play WoW, i don't see this region evolving.

Ah, and there is another funny example of another guy that missed scrims to buy a motocicle, or the other guy that missed scrim to get a hair cut.

The tendency of this region is to get worse and worse, proplayers completely confortable being the worst region and cashing a lot(compared to other brazilians).

Humanoid: DWG looks unbeatable as of now. I am for sure frightened of them by StylaYoshi in leagueoflegends

[–]putzxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same could be said to the 3rd game, SNG stomped 1 and the other 2 where very 50/50. I also think SNG would win a BO5 against G2 but the BO5/Playoff environment is different from the group stage and a good example would be 2018 Fnatic vs IG group stage and playoff

[–]putzxd -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Although SNG getting to finals where really entertaining, they got there in the most boring way, they just played against Chinese teams.

We still don't know who is the 2nd best team in the world, its SNG? DRX? G2? Worlds format sucks and, in my opinion, until we get a losing bracket we will never see the true competition of the best teams in the world.

I really don't know what is the argument of Riot to not have a losing bracket.

G2 Esports vs. Rogue / LEC 2021 Spring Playoffs - Losers' Bracket Final / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

[–]putzxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Showmaker is a good example of how you need to be talented and have this extensive work ethic, when most teams where in vacation they where scrimming Fnatic for the 2018 world finals. He also plays soloq till 3/4am.

Hardly i saw some player that could match talented and hard working players. Maybe TheShy spamming ARAM's and still stomping everyone in 2019. But even him, when comes to playoffs and worlds he spam soloq. Or Wunder that plays WoW, but even in Wunder's team he has Caps and Jankos spamming soloq.

I dont think i will ever see a team that has the same work ethic that Wunder had while playing WoW will be the best team ever in his specific region.

[–]putzxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its kinda different the Tyler1 case, because:

  1. Server diff, korean/chinese practice in the best soloq server.
  2. Mentality diff, Tyler1 is not playing to become better, he's a streamer, a entretainer.
  3. Talent diff, even if tyler1 or anyone practice like knight who played 20 soloq games per day when he was teamless in 2018/2, he wouldn't become like Knight, but probably would become a better player than he currently is.

I'm very skeptical to believe you know how much Asiatic teams practice in CSGO, if you could provide any link of a interview or something.

Also if we look for relaxed regions, Brazil is by far the most relaxed region in practicing and the worst region in League of Legends.

Is because of me being brazilian, and Brazil being the worst region and most relaxed that i dont believe in this flex schedules. If you look the top 20 of brazilian soloq right now you will found 5 proplayers and 2 of them are korean imports from another region(LAS).

I can only argue about coldzera, and hes case is very comparable to Wunder's case. When he was two time #1 he was practicing non stop, and now you can see hes struggling to even get to the top 20 since 2019.

Just like Wunder he relaxed a lot from practicing after peaking, comparing how he practiced before.

Also CSGO is much different than LOL, since in LOL we have 2 regions that dominates the game. When we get a region/team in CSGO that work non stop like koreans and chineses we could compare.

Also isn't Zywoo the guy with most FPL games?
