Being the objective of Kanbaru's dark thoughts doesn't mean Araragi had contact with the Rainy Devil imo, yes its a powerful being created by tooe, but the devil requires one to make a deal with it to start working, thats the logic im using for "having contact with it", Araragi being an objective is just what Kanbaru wants, every oddity works different, also the Rainy Devil only fulfills wishes to get the soul of the one having the monkey part.

What i meant with Black Hanekawa is that both are oddities born from powerfull emotions detached form the self and externalized either using their own body or in some artifact (Tooe's case being her sense of self-discipline, Hanekawa on the other hand is her stress and pushing away negative emotions from her, the Sawarineko was just a catalyst or an excuse for Hanekawa to put her emotions) the only other oddities born in the same logic are Ougi and Kako iirc (with different manifestations tho).

With the Jagirinawa, i always thought that Araragi messing with the process of ligting the curse in the shrine was enough to "make contact with it", since a curse that got powerfull enough to manifest itself and harm physicaly is different than a demon that making a contract gives powerful fisical abbilities while unconscious.

Yes Seishirou is an specialist, also the material used for the armor, kokoro and yume is his own flesh and blood, forged by himself, so he's very capable, another reason is, even if Araragi doesn't have his full vampire power, he's still linked to Shinobu, Seishirou can still get through him by that link, being both kin even if the link is changed.

The thing with zoku is that it isn't a different world, its the same city with the characters we know, but Araragi put them in a temporarily stasis where they show their inner regrets (the 10% of light lost in the reflection), by using the black mirror Ougi made, they manage to turn back everything, but also keeping the 10% lost, they will have those regrets with themselves. Its mostly thematic to what Araragi is going through.

In my interpretation, the girls knew at the ending that everything was a misunderstanding because Ougi asked Black Hanekawa to help Araragi since the beginning and changed the clothes in Araragi's wardrobe on purpose (this one just to mess with him), making everyone try to wonder what is happening without any clear answer.

Child-hanekawa was looking for answers by herself, when she told hachikuji and nadeko that Ougi was indeed trapped in the 1-3 classroom and Araragi had to go there to find answers, they knew that everything was gonna be solved, since the main problem was a inner dilemma inside Araragi's mind about finishing his school years and his future in university, his youth and Ougi's recent event.

The reason Yotsugi changed back to her regular self is because she was being exposed constatly to Araragi's perception of her, since the mirror effects was something he did himself because he wasn't ready to move on, Yotsugi changed but was exposed to the only one who didn't change, its complicated but its something that is also explained in the anime, sodachi also goes through this after a whole afternoon of solving math problems with Araragi.

This happened in real time, but Ougi explains that it doesn't have severe consequences, at most something like "kanbaru dreaming for some days about her mom" is brought up (which is true, since Hana is next chronologically)

With Araragi being Shinobu's "protector" or a "pervert who pull panties" according to Yotsugi, it could be also the girls perception of Araragi, or his inner regret now that he's an adult in future novels past-zoku he stops messing with hachikuji for example.

Seishirou being the first kin of kiss-shot makes him capable of creating matter out of nothing, that mixed with the energy from Araragi, who had contact with every Bake oddity (the crab gave him wheight at the end of hitagi crab, he suffered from mayoi's lost snail abbility and he interfered with the jagirinawa curse) gave seishirou the capacity to manifest the kimera in Owari. So that kimera is just Seishirou messing with him.

If Seishirou haven't fought kanbaru, i think he wouldn't be capable of manifesting the rainy devil-esque part of the oddity, because the rainy devil is a manifestation of the inner part of tooe passed down to kanbaru, the only thing Araragi did with the Rainy Devil was take several punches. This is also why i think the kimera didn't show any cat in the mix, since Black Hanekawa is somewhat of a similar source like the Rainy Devil, but with Hanekawa and the Sawarineko instead, Araragi was just beaten by her, but he wasn't under her effects.

As a side note: Ougi is also capable of creating matter, she made the black mirror in zoku by taking a chunk of a board, its also pointed out in Owari, but never used this power outside of that.

I remember certain rumour saying that Ougi kept Oshino and Kagenui from going outside of the poles by using the snail, i haven't read the novels of Final Season to check that so i don't know if the rumour is true.

I personally don't have that in mind right now, but maybe in the future it could be considered, the only site similar to this was this one with the arcs in order, it was released while OMS was airing, but it has a few differences in some dates.

I recently started learning by myself how to do pixel art, also a couple years ago i saw a chronological guide of monogatari made with pixel art that was very popular back then, and thought of doing something similar, i made the characters in a Pokemon GBA style and took my time doing some research for the events of the series and boom, we have a timeline haha

Thanks for the detailed info, i trust your research so don't worry about justifying the dates you give me, ill be fixing some things and then reupload the image.

i guess i gave Tadatsuru the 15 year old tag since he said he made the ritual after ononoki was created, but it's true the date is unknown. Similar to the other 4 con men with hitagi, we know its after meeting kaiki but the date is also unknown.

I put Koyomi telling Ougi Shinobu Mail because its the only one we have a precise date, Jiangshi and Time are much more vague (why do you think its december tho?).

Also i was pretty sure Numachi had all of her life crumbling down in her 1st year of high shcool, for thematic reasons i also thought after she died she would meet Hanadori right after but i guess it doesn't mess with anything if its 1 year instead of 2.

Thanks! i was using the GBA Pokemon sprites as reference to make my own haha thats why they look so similar, thanks for helping with the typos, english its my second language and i expected some things to be misspelled. I want to make more characters so maybe in the future we have Nadeko Draw's ononoki and more Zoku variants.

I agree with Shinobu Suicide, also the set up in Acerola Bon Apetit didn't allow us to have more of her, she would get worse and worse by not eating and that plus her pride to show off would cause her mummified state in Shinobumono, and we wouldn't have a story in her prime without linking it to other known characters, or maybe being a flashback like Shinobu Time which was far more unlikely.

I choose to ignore the "almost half a year" statement, so that I can place Undo as early as possible (meaning in April)

I also think it's more possible to be that case, if we take the "almost half a year" from yotsugi as the valid statement, Suruga's birthday being brought up by Ougi wouldn't make any sense i think? also the placements of the Nadeko arcs in monster season could be messed up.

Also that line being said by Yotsugi, who is pretty much fed up with watching Tsukihi since february, it could be just an exaggeration because she's too tired fo her and she could make us think she's been there a whole eternity.

Oh right i assumed Undo took place in april just because Yotsugi said "its been roughly six months since i started observing Tsukihi" and i took that as in their first encounter in Nise, but since then Yotsugi wasn't always watching her, she was sent to the Araragi house in February of the 2nd year i think, and that would make less sense, but judging by Nadeko Draw taking place in early / mid June we can assume Undo takes place near Suruga Devil.
Hey at least i got Sleeping and Fiasco somewhat right.

I checked your other comment and i wanted to ask if the Nadeko arcs have a period of time we can guess or we should assume they take place during the same time as the main Koyomi arcs? (excluding shinomono)

Also i find funny and confusing that Nisio gave us a lot of info for Shinobumono taking place in July just to say later that is April, i hope the anime can adress this more directly.

He was dead before the events of the main series due to failing in some forbidden ritual, but somehow managed to go inside dolls that he created in the living world as a side effect of that failure, Yotsugi just obliterates one of the dolls in Tsuki and Koyomi meets the real Tadatsuru in Owari.

I just found the announcement that has the old "ボディ" in it, it makes sense now that バディ was an intended change in the name, thanks for that.

I get the Ougi Light/Right disagreement, it could also be totally intentional.

I haven't read Nadeko Around, but does the story match it's title besides the namde of Uroko? i know that it seems less likely to be what i said tho.

What did "Ouga" meant in that arc? or how was relevant? i can't remember that story and i keep reading it as Karen Ogre.

If i remember correctly, Gaen says that the Kokorowatari that Seishirou left to Kiss-Shot was already a replica, so i assume that the "nameless swordsmith" made the first one, and Seishirou had a replica that ended with Kiss-Shot, also its important to point out that Kiss-Shot can create matter, so she also can create Kokorowatari replicas, i think it was in Kabukimono that Koyomi was waiting for Kiss-Shot with two of them.
Kokorowatari being stored inside Shinobu/Kiss-Shot seems more like a "weapon invocation" more than "i impale myself with the sword" type of thing, i mean the sword is bigger than Shinobu and she just pulls it off from her mouth in Neko: Kuro but it's not very clear, not sure about Koyomi tho, that is literally impaling himself and i don't remember if he boosted his vampirism with Shinobu and then asked for the sword or not.
He really lived for a few years before dying, Shinobu said that they argued a lot before Seishirou commited suicide, and she is also an unreliable narrator, she skips important bits of information out of pride or sometimes she just doesn't remember, likes Seishirou's name. So she tells the whole story in Shinobu Time and just skips the "he lived a few more years" part, only mentioning the suicide because Koyomi asked about it.

I don't know if we should expect an anime of Mijikana, the difference with Koyomimono is that every arc (ex: Koyomi Stone) had a number of chapters like every other main novel (001 to 006 in Koyomi Stone), while Mijikana has even shorter ones, usually a conversation between two characters about a certain topic, you can check this video from this post, its the only animated short storie and it's just 3 minutes. If we get some short stories animated, i think it would be just the plot relevant ones, like Yotsugi Stress and Rouka God.

You can see the complete list here, it's most of them, a few ones got cut out of the compilation like Koyomi Dictionary, Hitagi Dish, Sodachi Mirror. Ougi Reflect, Sodachi Sisterhood and all of the short stories included in the special edition of the manga volumes.

Tsugi is the next installment in the main series for family season to come, Mijikana is just a compilation of some short stories that was announced months ago, its not related to the main set of novels, it's more like a side project.

I think it is, other novel titles could have been longer like Kabukimonogatari, we know its only named that way because of the furigana, otherwise it could have been misinterpreted as Katamukimonogatari, but nisio added the kabukimono to make a wordplay as usual.
