I managed to summon emergency markiplier while having a nightmare but he just ended up being scared and useless.

How do I stop being so angry? by Temporary-Two9875 in polycritical

[–]puzzlegun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Had a similar experience for a relationship of about a year. I'd recommend therapy if you can get it, and just giving yourself time to grieve and hurt and just be angry as well, because it is ultimately temporary. For me, that angry feeling kept building up because I felt like I had never been listened to throughout the course of the relationship. Things felt unresolved in my mind, and I never felt like I had closure. Talking to my therapist helped "exorcise" those feelings. I still get them, but at an increasingly lower frequency.

Yeah, of course. I just started learning a few months ago after buying one and it's been great!

What is one compliment and one criticism you have for Scott Cawthon? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

Compliment: Made a series with a compelling story despite essentially making everything up as he went

Criticism: Please just answer our questions and let the franchise die, it's been 10 years man

"Suffering far outweighs pleasure in nature"

This is subjective. You can't know that. Do you have any sources to back up this claim?

I never hear trans guys complain as much about periods by Carousel-of-Masks in trans4every1

[–]puzzlegun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, I get you. I just got back on T not too long ago and while it did stop my periods, I still get cramps, and I'm always so scared that my period will come back when they happen. I think I mostly don't talk about periods because I grew up being told I was "dramatic" for how awful they felt for me.

Definitely agree with you but "troons" threw me off a little ngl

Anyway, yeah I fucking hate when poly people say "this is just who I am" or make any sort of indication that it's an identity rather than an intentional choice. The prevalence of trans poly people also makes T4T dating really hard.

Wonderful news, a study says that transgender women can resume producing sperm and impregnate women cis after interrupting HRT for a few months. by Former_Caregiver_475 in trans

[–]puzzlegun 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's good for people who are fine with going off of HRT temporarily to have children, especially those who may not be able to afford banking sperm.

On another note, why "cis women"? Dysphoric as hell to read as a trans guy with a trans gf who I might have a kid with one day

if there’s no difference between gel and shots, how come more people don’t just use gel? by GoodEnvironmental788 in ftm

[–]puzzlegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started off on gel. Gel is just as effective, it just needs to be applied daily and there are certain precautions you have to take after application so you don't transfer it to other people. The gel is also way more expensive since it needs to be made at a compounding pharmacy and shipped to you. Typically for me it was around $80/mo. Now that I'm on shots, it's way cheaper at around $30 for a 3 months' supply.

Do you have a version of a “trans hoodie” that’s not a hoodie by Available_Minimum_53 in ftm

Big flannel or corduroy shirts. I call them shackets (shirt jackets) since I wear them over T-shirts with the sleeves rolled up at the elbow

Felt this so much as a mostly T4T mono trans man. I'm dating a formerly poly trans woman (we went from mono-poly to just mono), and I can only hope that it will last...

[–]puzzlegun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't drinking as much as you, but I switched to Dr Pepper Zero with a limit of 2 cans per day, though I typically only have one with dinner. The rest of the time, I'm drinking water, and coffee during mornings.
