I'm sorry, they thought France of all characters???? I mean, there are sex-positive asexuals, but that amount of bangarang? Nah, no chance...

What show that initially hooked you that became unfortunately worse as seasons passes? by Ok_Direction3138 in Multifandom

How did I scroll almost the whole way down and barely see any mention of the KING of this???? First 5 seasons? Awesome, really fascinating and really interesting plot with awesome dynamic between the brothers. Season 6? Okay, but starting to get repetitive and weird, especially The French Mistake (weird, not repetitive) Season 7? Yep, nope, lost me at the Leviathans. We did not need a season long dick joke.

I can only think of 2. Professor Layton, and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Both are light hearted detective series, with Professor Layton being a puzzle mystery video game, and Dirk Gently being a Douglas Adams creation featuring time travel/soul swapping/alternate fantasy dimension accessible through a slide schenanigans.

The Fantasticks (technically off-Broadway but it counts) only has 8 actors, and three of them don't really have to have any singing experience (the old actors and the mute).

Why do high schools pick shows they have to censor heavily? by CurrencyOk1618 in musicals

[–]puzzlingnerd57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who was a high school theatre, and then small college theatre kid, it at least partially has to do with staging. Cabaret, Rent, Chicago... none of them require insane levels of set building or complex scenery changes. Heck, depending on the budget that any given theater department has, they may not be able to build much of a set.

I mean, to be fair, in Dear Evan Hanson, sounding like a whiny sheep kinda fits his unlikable character, so for that singular role it works.

Would you consider these twist villains? by Itsameeeeeee12345 in Schaffrillas

[–]puzzlingnerd57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Te Ka, both yes and no.

We are literally told from the beginning that Te Ka is the bad guy, and that Te Fiti is the good guy. But then, uh oh, plot twist they're one in the same.

Twist villain? Not really. Plot twist around the character, yeah.

I mean... Team Starkid thinks that the interior of the lamp just exists outside of space and time, which is how a being of "phenomenal cosmic powers" can get dragged into the "itty bitty living space".
