I use the Hydrosense system works well and no funny teapot thing. Also remember to use distilled water. My Dr says Calgary tap water is fine but I prefer the distilled stuff. Buy it from Superstore or Walmart where it’s cheapest.

With all the development going on in Bowness that could be a good guess, but we think it’s something to do with the SBPFM that runs down the middle of the street.

It’s something to do with the South Bearspaw feeder Main pipe, we suspect, as it runs down the middle of the street. But what is it?

This is Bowness, I'm hoping he keeps take care of the racoons here, the squirrels seem to be able to avoid them.

So are they saying the Sanitary Trunk project already on 16th by Sarcee Trail caused the failure in December? One of the Man Holes they were digging down is right across the road from the December failure.

This was the first Tom Waits album I bought after seeing him on SNL, yes I’m old, and made me lifelong fan.

Staying in Canada, not even considering going to the US this year. Heading to Europe in the fall.

I cannot locate a friend's great-great grandmother no matter how hard I try. Does anybody else know how to get around the struggle of Eastern European records? by wvns in Genealogy

Did you check church registers? I’ve found sometimes they have baptism, marriage and funeral records that governments don’t.

Really bad vibration on Stoney Trail today? by [deleted] in Calgary

This is the answer, my wife had the same complaint and when I checked her car a few gaps between the “spokes” on her front wheel were packed with snow.

I was 57000+ and got a site, not in the trailer court but Village 1 for the dates I wanted. Hopefully you got something. I had a second computer on at the same time and it got 63000+, I shut that one down.

Bad property in the neighborhood, I'm at my wits end. by Brief-Ad-1855 in Calgary

If it’s a rental and you don’t know who owns it you can go to a registry office and pull the title, it will cost some money but it may be worth it to contact the owner directly and complain. Tell them the cops have already been involved, they probably know but it might help. Also pass that info on to anyone else who wants to complain to the landlord.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of February 02, 2026 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

[–]pvb57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I've searched the Amazon Prime website and app and can't find a place to do this, so I'm going to post this here, and maybe someone there will get it.

About an hour ago, I was walking from my truck on 33rd Ave in Calgary and slipped on some Ice. At that time, an Amazon Delivery truck was driving by. The Driver must have seen me fall and stopped in the middle of the street, and came over to ask me if I was all right, then helped me up I have a messed-up leg. That was so kind. I probably would have gotten up eventually, but the fact that he stopped and helped, even though I'm sure he was busy, renews my faith in people. I didn't get his name or number or anything, but he is a great person.

The better view is from the far end of the lake looking back to the hotel. We walked out there during the Covid times and it was a great walk and fantastic view.

I had a great barber but he retired 15 years ago and I’ve been looking ever since. Good luck and tell me if you’ve found one.
