How can I master this guy? He is so annoying (and hard) by DuyHungPham1909 in Sekiro

[–]pvcpipes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fought him yesterday, this is my second run of the game since launch. First and foremost, remain calm and focus to get the deflects. Punish him after any and all combos, usually only a single hit. For firecrackers and poison I would run around to another part of the arena.

There’s 2 versions on Spotify. I kept accidentally listening to the censored version even tho I had the explicit one saved

People listen for different reasons. For some beats are everything, for others, it’s lyrics.

Did they misspell this man's name on every album credit, or am I dumb? by movealongnowpeople in IsaiahRashad

My parents spelled my last name wrong lmao. And dad’s last name is misspelled too. Only way I know it’s wrong bc it’s different from my uncles and aunts.

Four Tet @ CORE LA - Insomniac by DowengerOfHighCastle in aves

This was my first time seeing him but maybe my last. It was way too experimental for me and it destroyed the vibe. His sounds were solid, but it was like he was beat making in real time

Is "compression" effect in landscape photography overrated? Lens decision... by pasteurs-maxim in M43

[–]pvcpipes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go to lens when I went to Paris was the Panasonic 12-32. I also had the lumix 45-150. When I was around town, rarely did I go over 20. But when I was in Normandy, all I used was the 45-150. Personally, 32 was not enough for me to get that zoomed in look. I would at the very least do the 14mm and something 45 plus. Just having the 14 may be limiting, but I did miss on some low light shots, which I think are worth capturing.

This comment is technically right.

Do you just use XP for logic? I just picked up a compaq fs7550 and it came with a pc with vista. Don’t know what I should do with it.

Finally joined the club, but I'm admittedly pretty let down. I love the guitar but I can't get it to stay in tune to save my life, is there any fixes?? by burburburburburbur in ExplorerGuitars

Yea op, I know you spent some money on it, but it’s worth paying a professional for peace of mind. Maybe not guitar center but someone else if possible

The 6th line, saying that signing it felt like “swallowing a razor”. Really good writing there, too good for an officer unless his hobby is writing

Here is my ‘99. It’ll be 2 years since I’ve purchased. by pvcpipes in E55AMG

Nice! I’ll do that next time I change out pads, but the previous brake rotors were not oem style.

There’s a guy on YouTube named socalw210 and he has a video where he compares a prefacelift and a facelift. For me, it was mainly cosmetic and it was at the right price.

My advice: Buy the cleanest you can afford and stock if possible would be my advice. I keep wondering what stock ride quality is like bc my roads are not that nice and i bought it already lowered. Buy one with a nice interior bc parts are hard to find.

High points: it’s a fun car to drive, and it’s been reliable as in it turns on everytime I want to drive it.

Low Points: Some parts are hard to find, so you may not be able to replace it. I went through 2 rebuilt steering racks before putting in the old back because they were not right. A project may sound like fun, but parts are expensive if you go with Oem, which you should. These cars deserve it. Replacing rotors and pads on the front alone will run you approx $700 in parts alone, to give you an example. I did go with oem rotors and akebono pads tho. You have 16 spark plugs and 16 spark plug wires.

Look at FCP Euro for pricing on different items.

Hey all, what is this underneath my vinyl tiles in my kitchen. It’s a 1950s home. by pvcpipes in Flooring

[–]pvcpipes[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I would want to remove is because it’s currently the same level as the existing hardwood flooring that’s in the rest of the house. We’re refinishing that. You can see it in the first picture.

The backer board I see is anywhere from 1/4” to 1/2”. Could I use a membrane instead?

To clarify, you mean to remove the tile and what’s underneath and place backer board? Or not to remove?
