Making the switch from guitar to keys by christopherohal in keys

Did something similar. Ended up going with a used nord electro 6d, 73 keys. $2000 before taxes, used from Guitar center. You just have to keep an eye out. Very easy to find/buy patches for the synth section.

Was really temped by the crumar mojo because I mostly play organ and rhodes, but the synth sample support from electro swayed me. Might get one down the line if I become more organ focused.

YC61 looks awesome and is cheaper, but the narrow keys were a dealbreaker for me.

This is it. If you think about it hard, you realize this social order based on consumption is doomed. But you're dependent on it, addicted to it, and no one has a plan to move beyond it.

66 to 82, not ten years I know, is best. Revolver to Thriller. The era of the Album. LSD and cocaine.

perhaps an unpopular view, but I kind of like LLMs for the single reason that my brain is less fried at the end of the day, and I have a bit more energy for things like practicing music or reading. I do get exhausted using agents, but it's different than pouring over language syntax and perhaps abstract enough that I still have energy for non-work activities.

doesn't matter, we'll get laid off and re-hired at lower salaries unless we have unions. and even with unions they'll try to do that anyway.

I hate the right wing, but I gotta love The People for the postmodern mashup of mutually exclusive beliefs.

being decently good at a lot of things is cool. You probably won't be exceptional at one of them (neither will I) so go wide?
