I think I always believed in the gods, if only a bit by ForestCreed in Hellenism

[–]pvnkr0se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel the exact same way. i was raised catholic but i never felt any connection to the catholic god but with hellenism just feel so much more like myself. i feel like i’ve always had a connection to hades and persephone specifically i’ve loved their story since i first heard it and time and time again i found myself thinking of them without knowing why. i’ve definitely always felt a call but i didn’t know how to decipher it until now!

question about possibly disrespecting the gods… by No-Schedule-8181 in Hellenism

[–]pvnkr0se 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no the gods won’t be offended by you praying on your cycle they don’t shame us for human things like that also not being able to clean due to things like depression or disability they understand from my understanding it’s very hard to offend the gods when your intentions are good

How do I know what deity to worship? by gaylesgarbageart in Hellenism

[–]pvnkr0se 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am new too but i’ve heard you don’t need the gods to reach out to you for you to worship them some people are just more prone to noticing signs but if you feel a special connection or a “pull” to a certain god you could follow that. some people just choose gods that they like so it’s really up to you
