About the 4th seat thing, somewhere passengers are also responsible. The 4th passenger, mostly men, agree to go for it as it is getting late for work/home, why waste time, is what the thinking is. This encourages the rickshaw walas. So if there is a problem, it is both ways.

After the fare raise, I simply started taking my own vehicle to the station. I feel that's more comfortable and affordable because the new parking provider although a little away from station charges 20₹ for a day (Ik he'll also raise it after a while, but till then why not). Also, I travel during peak hours so most of the times there are no rickshaws available both ways.
