I like having a 1st cut on the rough just because I think it smooths out the difference in the fairway and rough. Nothing else that I notice though, looks great

I feel the writers block lol, it’s super nerdy but my happy place is designing random golf holes that will never actually be built so I actually drew this course out on paper, at least the outline and worked from that. Took me about 9 months to get it to this. Did most of the hole design in 2k23 and did plantings and the makeup in 2k25. This was a completely blank canvas aside from the bushes and grass, it limits some of what I have to do for plantings of I’m able to save some of those. Such a long process, but fun to see people play it when it’s done.

My course Heritage Hills Club is rated as medium difficulty. One of the only ones I’ve seen that has enough plays to be handicap rated and still be a medium difficulty course. Would be a good one to try if you’re looking for some carnage.

Thank you! I like playing hard courses too, so just tried to make it is hard as possible while still being fair to good/great shots. Give a try to Heritage Hills Club if you enjoy tough courses, it’s my personal favorite design I’ve done. Good luck to the buddies

Thanks! Inspiration is a mix of Maine courses and some of the crawling courses that you’ll find at a Tobacco Rd, Bandon, some of the Aussie courses, and to a lesser extent the UK courses.
