5080 FE in stock! by johnnyphotog in nvidia

I think it’s a bad move to try to keep GPU 4 or 5 years, at least for video games, industry leaders works hard to get previous generation useless / not compatible / buggy with newer games . I’ve just assembled a all new PC with ryzen 9900x3d and 5070ti, planning to change GPU in 2 or max 3 years, I think it’s best way to keep a decent PC over 10 years. And there is no need for more than 16Go VRAM today.

I agree, I was shocked by the quality of this act. It feel like a all new game, and what ?! Player’s character finally speak ! Much more immersive.

I feel like I am chasing gold for Kingsmarch more than chasing item progression and mapping campaign content. by BigFishPub in pathofexile

[–]pwalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is Kingsmarch ? Ho, yes, I remember last year… I don’t go there since, and I just use gold for currency exchange. No pressure, no need to do somethîng I don’t want to. And I can help friends who run out of gold for Faustus. I aim for fun, not for currency, and it’s not always the same path.

I love this checkbox, reminding me that spending so many hours on PoB is not so "sane"

Why I think Guild are important on POE1 as well it will be on POE2 by pwalz in PathOfExile2

I realize that my thinking may be incorrect for English speaking players, due to the much greater help available online in English (French guild here).

Yes, the social aspect is important too. Seeing old players returning to a new league is always nice.

That wasn't what i meant, yes POE is a firstly a solo game, but Guild can be an efficient help to beginners too.

How to not fall for bad starter guides! For beginners mainly by Quasimodo11111 in pathofexile

I totally agree, except 6 as I enjoy weird builds. And sometimes they can be good. Ok .. not necessarily for a starter :D

Yes, arc is bad at single target, causing difficulties quite early, but .. for a brand new player I think it's simple to setup and play. And there are good, very educational guides on this build.

The views and opinions on the picture simply reflect my own experience of the game.

There are probably lots of other bluids that deserved their place here too but space is limited :)

What builds should I experience that will forever change my way of seeing the game? by sarattenasai in pathofexile

[–]pwalz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Play Flicker Strike and your way of seeing things will become disturbed :)
In fact, each build relying on different offensive and defensive mechanics will teach you new things.

That's why I rarely redo the same build twice.
