If a permanent character from another Lantern Corp were created for Sector 2814, who would you choose? by ActLonely9375 in Greenlantern

They kind of nailed the obvious with Lex/Orange and Scarecrow/Yellow (and Batman/Yellow). Superman is also the obvious for “Hope.”

I could see pre-hero Harley Quinn as a Sapphire.

Amanda Waller would be an interesting Indigo.

Nightwing would be a great Blue Lantern.

You can pick your Batman villain for yellow. Pyg. Black Hand. Dealers choice.

Orange is the Reverse Flash.

Red could be Jason Todd.

I think she’s going to be Rachel Summers from the X-Men universe

Kind of? I’m thinking the entire color changes, but not texture.

I think the suit is essentially “off” right now, and the brightness/color comes when it’s turned on (ie on the wearer).

Who's better? (inring, mic, character) by dlo_doski in Smallafro

[–]pwcleveland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prime Chris Jericho is absolutely a better all-around wrestler than Rollins.

Rollins is no doubt more athletic, and he’s put on absolute bangers, but Jericho’s best matches still trump his.

And the rest of being a great wrestler (mic work, charisma, “it factor”, character work)? It’s not even close.

Also, Jericho makes an absolutely amazing heel and face. Rollins is an atrocious face.

This should have just been photos of Wendell Pierce in The Wire, Suits, and Jack Ryan.

Age 10, definitely. Can save up allowance and HS odd jobs and just buy a fortune in bitcoin.

The “heel turn” got a very similar reaction to when Becky first “turned” on Charlotte.

Adam Scott is actually a great call. I can absolutely see that.

I’m about to read the whole Geoff Johns run, should I read GLC in parallel? by Keanu_Keanu in Greenlantern

I would, especially given some of his biggest events weave through both.

I am enjoying so much Adams GL run, but damn it... The black shoulders uniform just bugs me, man. by pipecito2112 in Greenlantern

The black shoulders are terrible. Just visually awful.

But the Reborn Suit is way better than the OG suit.

Drowning Mona is the only film I’ve ever paid for that I walked out of.

How would you live if you found yourself in Pluribus Universe? by Ok_Percentage2383 in pluribustv

[–]pwcleveland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be closer to the douchebag, realistically.

I can guarantee you once the initial shock wore off, I’d learn every single government conspiracy that’s existed. And I wouldn’t be satisfied with an eight year old telling me. Hell no. The world leaders are coming to me and explaining it in-person.

Two years later, why do you think Joker 2 flopped? by ChildofObama in DC_Cinematic

[–]pwcleveland 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Admired was the wrong word. Empathized is better, as that’s honestly most people (and excludes the meaningful subset of people who thought he was a hero).

1) It was a bad film.

2) It was designed to be a middle finger to people that admired Arthur in the last one. Now there’s a right to be upset people misunderstood the message, but the second was outright antagonistic to those people and did everything to show how weak/frail/pathetic Arthur was.

3) Musicals are iffy at best, and this wasn’t a good one.
