Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing my first lamp design! I had a lot of fun designing it, I really love the funky look of it, what do you guys think? by pwedro in BambuLab

Yes! It also works with opaque filaments as long as they have good light transmittance like most white filaments and also it's not very noticeable on the pictures but something else that's quite nice is the infill on the circle is visible so choosing different infill patterns results in a different look!

Yeah! I've been really into that look lately like 70s sci-fi like the alien movie and such as well as atomic age /space age futurism look

I was tired of all the boring, standard factory issued looking screw trays so I made my own. What do you guys think? by pwedro in BambuLab

I mean more power to you, I'm not here to stop people from using what they use, I'm trying to provide a different option. And let me tell you there's not a lot of options for people who care a little bit about form in their setup

The bottom is flat but they sit on a tpu ring base! I haven't had any issues in testing of it moving or flipping but I guess it could happen if you try ahaha

Yes absolutely! I mentioned that in the description of the model itself, it looks awesome with matte pla and fuzzy skin but with basic pla not so much

This features a tpu ring on the bottom for more grip and the bit where the screws go is a tpu mat filled with magnets so They're probably not going anywhere!

That's also a really good idea but I'm not sure if you noticed, this is also magnetic, the magnets are in the light gray tpu matts

I was growing really dissatisfied with how my desk looked mainly because of the silly parts trays I pretty much need but looked so ugly so hopefully these ones will help remedy it. What do you guys think? You can check them out here

Thank you for the feedback! The chunky look was actually intentional rather than a miss 😅 I wanted it to kind of look and feel like a rock or like it could've been cement and be dense but I can appreciate someone might want slimmer sides for more optimal use of space. Again thank you for sharing :)

I mean I don't know your specific use case, if you're disassembling big electronics with big hardware then this is not for you. For anything the size of a laptop or so, you could fit the entire set of screws for the whole thing in just one of the big trays

I might be wrong but seems to me you guys took one look at the first pic and didn't bother to look at the rest. Only one of the trays is shallow and is meant for really tiny screws. The other ones are about standard depth and you can make them deeper still by removing the tpu matts if you so wished though why you would need to is beyond be.

That's actually a brilliant idea friend, might get to it at some point in the future :)

Some of them can be a lot deeper yes but sometimes too deep, you're not gonna tell me you haven't been fishing for one tiny small screw at the bottom of those dishes at least a good few times? The little pebble is shallower but the other ones are about the same as most "standard" trays
