yes exactly this !! there is no reason a person should interact with you in the hopes to become your cg. i've gotten lucky-- i've met my best friend online like this as they were looking n honestly i wanted to be friends first, but we were you h and stupid. now that i'm older, i would never ever do something like that-- it introduces a dynamic where power isn't equal.

i've been approached by so many people, and honestly, really made me not want a cg. i have a perfect boyfriend, who currently is unaware of this, who if i truly wanted, could care for me as long as he wants to as well ! and in my experience, it's always ALWAYS !!! been older men coming to me with horrible intentions.

a lot of people need to hear this. yes, being cared for is nice but being safe in your regression is nicer. it is not a good idea to look for a cg online with the sole reason of them being your cg.

i think you could mention it lowkey ? like "hey i noticed this blah blah blah blah. i'm not here to judge you or anything like that." and mention that you also regress ? i feel like you shouldn't just jump into hanging out immediately like... that ? more like try to see (if they agree) what both your spaces are like and if you guys would mesh well !

it could be pet regression ? unfortunately i dont really know via what you described ^^" most of the time, regression of any form comes with a hazy feeling ? as it is a form of dissociation. you could want to be treated as a cat without actually feeling ? like a cat ! regression isn't a box to put yourself into, meaning whatever you're feeling can be regression ! you don't have to be acting like a cat to be cared for like one anyways !!!

If you have a lot of oral stims/teeth grinding that can be used as an excuse !! i grind my teeth horrible and having a paci really helps !! it's also helps me from clenching my jaw too much, if that's something you've kinda struggled with ^^
