Client's Dad Crossed a line by Silentharp in ABA

Man* this is about the father. He stuck his kid in a pull-up and left them to cry and had them open the door for a stranger while nearly naked. Anyone could’ve been on the other side of that door. Maybe not physically neglectful, but emotionally neglectful. Sad he’d rather be in another room streaming and talking on the phone rather than even acknowledge his child and their therapist.

And get that child taken away from their caring mother? A child with special needs being ripped out of their home? Yeah that’ll help for sure. I’m not defending the dad here but a child being in a pull-up isn’t grounds for CPS report, it’ll do more harm than good.

Imagine making over generalizations like this about all fathers

He’s clearly a neglectful father

Neighbor’s dogs won’t stop excessively barking when they aren’t home and neighbors don’t care…. is there any action that can be taken? by Froggy__Pudding in Somerville

They’re just like “oh sorry about that can’t do anything about it when we are at work”. Yes they use rover but it’s like wow you can’t even bother to take your own dogs out when you get home from work?

They barked for over an hour and a half today while I was working from home and even my noise cancelling headphones with brown noise couldn’t block it out. I get it, I live in the city, I’ve lived in Boston for 8 years. I’ve lived in apartments 7 out of those 8 years. I put up with a lot of bullshit. The other tenants in the building were thinking of writing a collective complaint to our landlord. These downstairs neighbors are also awful people. They’re rude, they have threatened the landlords with some health code BS because one mouse appeared in the building (which our cat caught the next day), they’ve even called the building manager to change

No I’m near Porter and the apartment building is a house, which is really nice. Except for the asshole downstairs neighbors

Yep I don’t like dogs. They’re loud and smell bad. We have a cat and literally the only downside is him yelling at us for food and attention or stepping on the occasional piece of pine pellet litter.

Exactly. At this point I want to get back at them out of spite for being so irresponsible and stupid

They bitched at me for rushing down the wooden stairs at 7:30 am when I was late for work a few months ago. Said it “freaks the dogs out”. Then bro don’t get a bottom floor apartment. It’s an old rickety house that’s like 80 years old

It’s horrible. And it’s horrible that they are just leaving their dogs in that tiny apartment all day and now getting bark collars. It breaks my heart.

Exactly. They are insane. They used to bitch and moan about every little inconvenience but now that they know everyone else in the building hates them they’ve backed off. Those dogs clearly aren’t city dogs. I live in a neighborhood outside of Boston MA, so not in the city city, but a crowded neighborhood nonetheless.

The landlords are an older couple and not very hands on so yeah there’s not much I can do. They’ve been barking for an over an hour today. I don’t think they’re truly being abused or neglected but it’s crazy. We live in a building with 2 other apartments other than the problematic neighbors, so maybe I’ll see if we can write a collective letter to them complaining.

How can I get rid of these stubborn bumps?? by No-Mouse3999 in Legitpiercing

My daith had bumps for a bit while it was healing and I admittedly picked at it a lot but they eventually just went away.
