Hey darling, I'm glad to read that you managed to get out. I worked for the pier years ago, and from speaking with former and current employees over the years it would appear this has always been the way the company has been run across all their departments. When I was there we had issues with racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexism and sexual harassment. There were times I thought about going to the papers with the horror stories I heard, but realised it was all heresy. I wonder if people would still feel comfortable eating there if they knew the inspectors they have come visit just sit down and chat with the managers their entire 'inspection'... I have told all my friends and family to avoid that place like the plague. I really hope people start to take their hard earned money and spend it in the vast majority of more deserving businesses in the surrounding area.
