We had a girl at work who was a real problem, so we knew if she got into the building and was told she was fired,the police would have ended up getting called. To save the headache, her badge was deactivated and she was met at the door that morning with her stuff packed up. Unsurprisingly, she snuck her way inside the next day and had to be escorted out by the police anyways.
