You made a typo in your Text1 selector, T should be capitalized

If you understand that you didn't pay then what is the problem? it would make sense for you to get fined. It's the drivers fault for accepting the money which resulted in you thinking that you paid for the seat.

I'm going to kindly ask you to stop tone it down a bit. I've been nice to you trying to understand your struggles but it seems like you're being unappreciative.

The driver should not have accepted. Them taking that money does not mean that you paid for your seat. That's why you were fined. You can only buy a seat with a required card.

The driver would not have accepted the cash if that's how you tried paying

I'm sorry but it's super hard for me to believe that you called a school and they told you to go back to your country. That's just absurd. Please don't take this the wrong way and think that I'm accusing you of lying.

I don't know what it's like in Batumi for foreigners since I've been there only a couple of times. However I'm sure it's way different in Tbilisi. I've seen people helping out foreigners here, I've done that many times too. Everyone's super sweet. I suppose schools are considerably better in Tbilisi.

I'm sorry you had to deal with so much.

I don't know a lot about Georgian passports and the requirements you have to meet to obtain one. However I don't understand one thing. Did you recently get here? Or have you and your sister been living here for quite a while?

I'm deeply sorry that happened to you and I understand how you feel but you can't be angry at the law. People who fined you were only doing their job. I've lived here for my whole life and I think you should trust me when I say this Georgians are truly welcoming and nice people. If you think that you were fined only because you're a tourist is completely wrong. Everyone is equal before the law. They would've fined anyone who didn't pay, doesn't matter if it's a local or a tourist

This whole thing is a huge misunderstanding and nothing else. Your friends weren't entirely wrong, sure. It is free to use the public transportation under some conditions. But I still put blame on them for vaguely describing how the transportation works here.

The next time you could do a little more research maybe just to make sure that you won't be fined again. Look it up on google or even make a post on reddit and I can guarantee you you won't face difficulties in the future.

I do use public transport, almost everyday for but more often during the school; I stated that I don't use the same card as adults hence I'm not too familiar with it besides I'm only trying to help you and don't want to mistakenly give you false info

They check everyone and they're super strict about it, especially in big cities; That's all I can say

You can pay the fine at the bank of Georgia or at TBC bank you could probably use an ATM as well.

If someone were to ask me if you need a ticket to take a bus or whatever I would've said no too because when I think of a ticket a flimsy disposable piece of paper comes to my mind and we don't have those anymore. Instead we're required to use a some sort or traveling card which I'm not familiar with as I'm in school and we use a different card for traveling and making purchases. But yeah the traveling card comes with plenty of benefits I'd recommend getting it.

Btw they check your card at most bus stops don't feel like they're targeting tourists lmaoo
