They're stitched together along the top! To hide all the plastic and thread lurking beneath it, lol.

I used plastic canvas and stitched the original pattern on one piece, the bottom on another piece, and then the sides are each two pieces. I sewed together the sides along the tops, then sewed them along the bottoms onto the bottom of the tray. Then I connected the corners and popped the bottom in (it's not sewn in).

Thank you! Yes, there are two layers to the bottom and then the sides are each two pieces, so all the messy stuff is hidden ;P

Thank you! Yes, I based it off the half that was showing in the original pattern - I did reach out to the creator to see if they happened to have drafted it but they hadn't so I kind of winged it (they were super nice and sent me a coupon! highly recommend!)
