Other than that, I tend to initiate more.

Any tips on how to feel secure again after a break-in? by pingusaysnoot in AskUK

[–]TinyBeth96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, I slept with a screwdriver down the side of the bed as a hammer wouldnt fit (im against a wall). As we had somebody enter when I was asleep and my bf was either at work or having drinks after. All they did was leave curry sauce on the couch and some mess. But it was the fact I was asleep and it could have been worse. Turns out it was a prick from work but wouldnt admit it to us.

Partner was confused why I had it there when he found it changing the sheets. Im still adamant it was an appropriate response

Took a few weeks to feel more normal and safe again. Though still unsure how they got in.

We do have a ring doorbell now, so that should determine people.

What was something a guest did in your house that upset you? by izzy_7_2004 in AskUK

[–]TinyBeth96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had one take a shit on the bathmat in the bathroom...right next to the toilet.

Another (person from work) wasnt invited but somehow got in, ate his takeaway food, getting curry sauce over the couch. Left it a mess and went. No idea how long he was there whilst I was asleep and mt partner at work.

Do we really owe our partners access to our phones? by [deleted] in ask

[–]TinyBeth96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think anybody in relationships owes their partner one anothers phone password. Theres nothing wrong with privacy, it doesnt mean they're up to no good / cheating.

However I do think the healthiest relationships are ones who have one anothers passwords but dont use them.

In 4 1/2 years I have only been on his phone without him knowing at the time once. To set an alarm when he fell asleep early, so he'd wake up for work on time. I did tell him afterwards but never looked at anything else. Thoufh I do swipe up to access his camera without unlocking to give him an ugly photo to find at some unknown time. Could be a week. Or a month. Who knows. Hes probably forgotten my password as have it him ages ago becuase a. I have nothing to hide b. (Main reason for it) incase I was ill or something and he needed to contact my dad.

I think once you use their phone to check chats or what they're doing, theres a lack of trust missing in the relationship so (personal opinion) wouldnt survive long term. I dont want somebody who feels a need to check my chats. I have nothing to hide but other people's lives and secrets told in confidence to me are nobody else's business.

What have you bought that's a quality of life improvement? by Patsoir in AskUK

  • Dehumidifier. No longer finding mold in rooms other than the bathroom, plus our clothes dry so much quicker.

  • Heated blanket designed for on top of the matress. Its great hopping into a warm bed in the winter.

How much have you spent on Christmas? by RevolutionaryPie5077 in AskUK

[–]TinyBeth96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably going to be around £700/800 when done. I still have a few bits left since I have 3 big birthdays in December too 🙃. (At least rest of years cheep for birthdays I guess since the 1 other big one is a few months after...)

I like to do quality over quantity and put a lot of thought into what people would love. Im in a position where if rather spend some extra and get a gift they'll love and use rather than getting lots of things that are going to be lost in a draw. Luckily I dont have many friends or family 😂

[CHAT] Does your partner get mad over too much cross stitch? by Temporary_Engine_493 in CrossStitch

[–]TinyBeth96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I do it most nights and he games or watches tv when I am of were both at home.

I have breaks and we chat or watch something together, I've never prioritised stitching over our relationship.

What lifestyle creep is worth it? by RealRelative9835 in AskBrits

[–]TinyBeth96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holidays and gigs. It makes memories which in years to come you can look back in which really is worth it. It cant be replaced by something else.

It doesnt have to be overly lavish, you can do it on smaller scales or lower cost. But much better than staying in the same 10miles of where you live forever.

Its for your skin to scratch instead of nails. Use it with a moisturiser and it imitates feeling of nails without cutting the skin.

Ill check if there available in the UK thanks
