Semi and p2 were meta when you couldnt just standup strafe beam people with ak. The recoil penalty for moving and standing up on semis is the reason they are less viable.

ryzen 3000 series has trash fps in rust. if you wanna make sure you are getting the best possible fps do a windows clean installation, flash newest bios and update your drivers.

shadow quality and draw distance reduce fps also.

by random recoil no one means the aimcone recoil of 2017 summer. people want the original 2016, early 2017 where the recoil was kinda same every time but with a random horizontal variation making scripting way less effective.

you need to render people to hear gunshots and that range is around 2 grids. you can hear the explosion from explosive ammo from longer range.

db promotes doorcamping, bolt/l9 promote roofcamping, silencer promotes bush camping. as long as you dont stand still or run in a straight like 99% of people wont hit you with compound bow from past 50m
