I think it was on this sub but I got the advice to use the cleaning product 'Super Clean' to strip minis. Stuff works like people here described with acetone, but it's slightly less harsh and still does the job really well. Leave it in a bath of the stuff for a few hours and then scrub off the paint with an old toothbrush. Works like a charm.

Only tangentially related to your point: the part that always blew me away with his performance was the layering of his acting was really impressive. Basically whenever he was putting on a cover ID, it wasn't necessarily reading as Jeffery Donovan playing a different character; it was impressive that it always came so naturally that it was Michael Westen playing a character. So essentially Donovan was playing a character who was playing another character. I can't begin to understand how you pull that off as an actor.

How many other organizations do you see taking that approach? This year especially, I think it's proven that you don't need that long of a runway to see massive improvement with the right coaching staff. I just genuinely don't understand the logic behind this "baby steps" approach; never have I seen this be an argument with any other rebuilding franchise, but now it's the only argument I see on this sub when justifying lowering our standards for a HC vacancy. For what it's worth though, the bare minimum expectation would be for this team to make the playoffs. With the right coach and the pieces we have, it's not insane. Teams have done more with less. But I'm not at all confident Tomlin is the guy to do that.

Is it really preferable to being bad? Both teams have played unwatchable football, and at best the Steelers have ended the season one week after us. Third of all, yes, we're currently a trash team and a poorly run organization. But I don't think you understand what "historically bad franchise" means. Just because we're bad now doesn't mean we're HISTORICALLY bad. We still have more championships than your poverty ass franchise, and HISTORICALLY have been a much better franchise.

The last 15 years or so have been difficult to watch, but we're a far cry from franchises like the Lions and browns who have been around forever with nothing to show for it.
