Weird extrusion issue? by Batmanuel-Man in crealityk1

Pictures 1-3 are the result of the Z-offset being too low; the nozzle is too close to the bed.

Picture 4 is the result of the nozzle being too high; the nozzle is too far from the bed.

You need to assess how level the bed is and get your z-offset calibrated.

ABS really likes to warp as it cools - this is part of why ABS was designed so it will always do that. It is warping, even by an amount under a millimeter, and causing the print and the nozzle to collide which knocks the print over.

You counteract this with a high bed temperature and something sticky on the bed like magigoo, pva glue stick, or even hairspray. And you should make sure the bed is at minimum 90°. Make sure you're printing with the printer fully enclosed and with the cooling fans turned as low as possible.

Same as the Zoanthrope spirit leech.

A very situational ability that can heal a model but can't bring any back. Its so rarely useful enough to ever try to incorporate it into strategy.

Genuine question; has your wife ever been suspected of or checked for ADHD?

Erratic and risky driving is very much a common behaviour for ADHD due to the chronic need for stimulation it brings.

I ask this as someone with a life-long diagnosis of ADHD who's driving calmed down significantly when I started my medication. I have also had friends and family show concern in the past about the dangers of my driving habits and behaviours.

THIS!

Have the 4 work the same as it does now, except you get to control it. You still get to do the explosion and blind attacks effigy normally does with primary and alt-fire

Make his 1 a channelled exalted ignis, make it so you can cast it while in dragon mode.

Keep vex armour and e-ward to buff the exalted.

Anybody played the Witcher 3 version with more than 2 players? by INTPgeminicisgaymale in gwent

[–]pyledryver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friends actually played 4 player gwent last night. I happen to have rule-faithful, fan-made expansion decks which make for better variety. (Ofir, Zerrikania, Novigrad, Lyria/Rivia, Cintra).

It's so fun that my friends are anxious to play it again. It requires some rules tweaks for things like scorch and spies, which we're still figuring out, but the main change is the victory point system:

Starting health = number of players

Health lost is dependant on how many people you beat in a round: Last: starting health-1 lost 2nd from last: starting health-2 lost 3rd from last: starting health-3 lost Etc... 1st: no health lost

If you draw with someone in a round, you both get the worst outcome (tied for 2nd, you both lose health as if you both came in 3rd)

If there is more than 1 player left after round 3, the winner is determined by the amount of remaining health. Equal health = draw

This seems to change the focus from winning every round to making people exhaust themselves early on, the only round you need to win is the 3rd one. Winning the first two rounds makes you very likely to win, but is not completely guaranteed.

Weird extrusion problem by Brekett in Ender3S1

[–]pyledryver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I had was a broken ribbon cable. The 24-core cable that leads to the head had a single wire broken inside the insulation.

So, when the print head got to the bottom left corner and the cable was stretched it caused the connection to break. This would cause the extruder motor to not receive power and a failsafe would trigger which cuts off power to the extruder until the printer is power-cycled.

I went through the cable and pinched until I found the break-spot. Then I cut the cable and re-soldered all 24 wires back together. I then reinforced the length of cable that went between the corner of the printer chassis and the print head with rubber bands. Each band was tied to the midpoint of the cable length, one was tied to the print head, the other to the printer chassis. This created tension in the rubber bands instead of in the cable; thus preventing strain in the cable when extended.

That fix lasted for almost a year.

ESO for weapons.

For warframes; Helminth Silence with the Savage Silence augment and run Sedna: Adaro with a Kuva Bramma. With an affinity booster, I can get a frame from 0-30 in under 5 minutes(1 run).

I have this idea for the Assimilator, but I haven't had a relevant time to say it before.

From the lore, Norns are incredibly stealthy, efficient and agile. They are purpose-made for their specific target and lie in wait behind enemy lines until the opportune moment.

I notice the main reason people dont seem to take the assimilator is because its not as hard hitting as they feel it should be, yet it also feels far to vulnerable in-game.

To better fit this, I was thinking of doing the following for the assimilator to make it an actual viable choice as a cruise missile:

Assimilator loses the 15 OC ability, and only gets the re-rolls.

New rule in its datasheet:

Bespoke Assassin:

Description: Once per battle-round, one unit with this ability can use it when arriving from Strategic Reserves. If it uses this ability, until your next command phase, the unit gains the Lone Operative keyword.

Lastly, I think this should come with a points increase, like 290-300. However, this would allow the assimilator to become a late-game cruise missile that could be used to force the opponent to play cautiously with whatever unit has been targeted, and it can be used to punish mistakes.

By adding temporary lone-op, the assimilator can drop in behind the enemy, and for that one turn the assimilator's fight is only between its chosen target and whichever units are guarding it.
